Hi fellow scooter riders....I have a Roketa MC-54B 250 which developed a very loud rattle on acceleration....which after 5000 miles did not compute....so I removed the varitor cover and proceeded to remove the varitor...clutch....belt....to check on the rattle if that was where it was at.....everything looked great...no self destruction....smooth variator...no rollers hurt...smooth clutch drive areas... clutch shoes ok....great belt....856-23...some grease but not too much...cleaned up and reinstalled the drive train....another rider told me where he had a problem....with same type of sound...so I looked and I found the problem.....the center stand was contacting the bottom of the engine....the small wheel on the center stand had half of the wheel missing.......so always check the wheel ..it may save you a leak in the engine...which is very hard to repair...my bottom case had some shiney wear..but no leak...enjoy the ride...

Hi....fellow scooter folks....received the LH Switch assembly from Roketa.....$40.00 + $15.00 shipping...looks like the original one on the scoot....just have to take the scooter apart and replace the harness....still have some scooter time left for work so I am going to use the dim your lights switch to get to work at 2 AM.....till I can tear down the machine....will let you know what I find out.....enjoy the ride.......tore down the switch and cleaned the contacts as best I could on the scoot....still no HI beam....can take a knife blade and short across the contacts and the HI beam comes on....not sure why this is happening...just works that way...enjoy the ride.....

Hi...guys & gals.....the switch had a rough spot on the swivel and other morning....like 2 am the rough spot went away on the switch and the hi beam went to black....so I use the passing switch to make it to work out in the country...like no street lights...or cars....the first web site showed the left hand switch assembly...but it is back ordered....like boat parts..so I contacted Roketa...they have the order...just need to come through with the harness..we will see....enjoy the ride....

Hi...guys...just a note....my Roketa MC54B-250 aquired a non working head light switch......so I had to use the passing/dim your lights switch to go to work at 2 am...so the hi beams would work.....took the switch apart for a look see and could not see what was wrong other than the switch did not work anymore...so I found www.motopartsmax.com and they had the left hand switch assembly for my scoot... $29.95 plus $6.95 shipping.....not bad...maybe this will help someone else with this problem....thanks.. and enjoy the ride.....

Just a note....change the valve stems....to balance the tires add DynaBeads.....change brake fluid...change oil, I use 10W40 and transmission oil 85/90 gear oil....change the coolant......50/50 mix....and do a good PDI.....check everything for tightness and general condition of the scoot....not hard just needs to be done.....the valve adjust will go a long way to getting it up and runnng..I have a Roketa MC54B-250 Cyprus....2008 model....Silver....3000 miles and smiling all the way to work and back....highlight of my day....... the guys and gals on this forum will help you in anyway they can....great folks....enjoy the ride.....

Hi...the intake is set at .004 and the exhaust .006.....this will do the trick...you will have to reset the idle after the valva adjust...takes the beast out of the scooter....enjoy the ride...
