TVNACMAN when you look at the video in post 37 of this thread do you think the noise is coming from the clutch?
I had pulled the clutch and sent it to you to look over a while ago and your first diagnosis was that the clutch was good and didn't need anything.
What do you think my next step should be?

rks.
There is an app called Here maps (made by Nokia). It is similar to Google maps. Where it shines is that you can use your android phone give you driving directions even when you aren't connected to a phone network. It will also work connected to ta cell network.
It is free.
One limitation it has when not connected to the cell network compared to Google maps is that It doesn't optimize your trip for current traffic conditions.

Barry. I'm pretty sure that you need to pull all of the cosmetic plastics before you can remove the seat pan.

John. What do you think about Cyborg's comment on my clutch possibly making the noise? I had pulled the clutch once before due to the extra loose spring and sent it to you to look over. I know you see so many that it may be hard to remember what you saw when you inspected my clutch.
Should I pull my clutch off again?

That makes sense. I am new to these clutches. Whe I replaced the belt I found an extra clutch spring. Here is the thread: scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/12345/extra-after-belt-change-neverI sent the clutch to John to see if it was missing a spring. Neither he or I had it apart. I will invite you to a PM between John and I and you can see pictures of the clutch. Maybe look at the thread and the pictures and see if you think I should pull it off again.

I don't like that kind of noise either. It would be nice to solve it and resolve it.
What should I torque it to? If I am using a torque wrench instead of an impact wrench how can I hold the variator from turning? You said to put a breaker bar in the variator fins. Everything looks like delicate thin aluminum that I don't want to damage.

I used an impact. Do I need to pull it apart and reset it with a torque wrench?

The variator seems tight with no slop when I wiggle it back and forth. How tight should it be? How do I stop it from rotating while I am tightening it?

So good news is that the clutch is all put back on properly torqued with removable Loctite. The bad news is that the loose nut that holds the clutch on isn't what was making the noise in my earlier video (from post 20 of this thread). Have a listen to this video and see if you can identify the noise. Any ideas on how to solve it? Thanks. I appreciate everyone's help in getting this solved. View My Video
