I had a feeling it wasn't a 39mm It Being a big body and me being rubenesque it ran right up there.
I wouldn't think the old guy I bought it from would have had the work done on it seeing it only had a 1100 on it when I got it.
It progressively got faster as it loosened up but stopped shy of what I wanted.

Lol, sometimes I like to get under the handle bars on these scooters. I feel stupid, but the speed difference is crazy. At-least long enough during takeoff to get to 35 - 40. I tucked before the BBK, hit a bump and bounced my face off the speedo......😄

Larger displacement pushed the fat to limits of final drive.
44mm just wasn't enough to to get the fat past the threshold of fat + wind resistance

Grandfather, was a small engine mechanic for some years amongst other things. He had rebuilt engines well past my years that still ran like a top after his death. Can't say of the benefits because I've never two of anything to do a control with measurements or had to rebuild anything I've done but I'll take my chances. Barnyard barbarian.. I like it as much as I like the smell of Caster while I mow the grass. Good lookin out though. ^^^

Right on man I can respect that.
Was just trying to pay it forward.
Good luck on getting your scoot back on the road.
PS I could send it C.O.D so then you are paying for it...... Lol.

Pm me your address and I'll ship it to ya. You'll need to get a crankcase and head gasket but it is yours.
I gave them to a buddy so for the cost of a gasket set you can have a 72cc kit.

Yes it is the one I got and no didn't replace anything but what comes in the kit minus the valve guide seals because they are fine. As stated though you won't get top speed increases of great deferences but you will get faster to speed with some top end increases. I was getting 46 top before, just got 52 the other day but am still tuning and me and my scoot are both big body models so you should see better gains than I. Do a compression test on it as recommended set the valve lash if it has good compression then order parts accordingly. How did the increase in HP make the rear wheel turn faster? Voodoo magic.

I'm not going to lie, That's a really nice kit! Mainly because of the price. Is this the kit you ordered? If so what speeds are you averaging? Also thank you for the information on Longbo, I read that somewhere, as well something about low. I figured maybe it was a low end model. But typically Vip model scooters always had better builds so dunno. I easily have the money for it but I want to pay off some credit card debit first :/.
I don't entirely know that much about engines, But I don't have to replace something like a cam shaft with this? Some bearing or anything inside of the engine, lol? Once again thank you! Yes it is the one I got and no didn't replace anything but what comes in the kit minus the valve guide seals because they are fine. Also I was having issues with my intake leaking so I put rtv around everything and solved my issue so give it a try but from the mileage you've stated I'm betting you need rings.
For 30ish bucks shipped I got a new 52mm cylinder, piston and gaskets off Amazon.

Air fuel screw on the side of the carb will get you the idle you need. 2 and a half(ish) turns out is the standard so start there.
As for the needle you'll have to read the plug to see what it is needing under load.
