tell butt-head to bring the scooter over so that you can take a look at it, pull off a few parts so that it cannot be ridden, then have your wife contact you with "an emergency", send the fellow on his way, and then tell him each time he calls "you have been busy and aren't done yet".

Since it is just plastic, use a hacksaw blade. Some hacksaws use a d shaped frame, others hold the blade from the back and look like a butcher knife, use one of these and you can modify as needed. Or you can simply wrap some black tape around the first four inches of the blade to fashion a handle, also a small section of rubber hose can be slipped on and used for a handle.
Is that a GPS that I see in the second picture?

I have done business with these folks, they seem to have a large inventory, and ship out fast and have reasonable prices.

How do folks feel about buying direct from China ? www.alibaba.com/Motorcycles_pid1203I contacted a manufacturer and was quoted ~$725.00 for the deluxe version of the 150 delivered to the door. I believe it is generically referred to as the touring style. Money goes into an escrow account, to be released by you upon receipt of the goods. I have bought several items thru alibaba, no motorcycles yet, mainly gizmos and computer stuff.

Besides, one would have to likely have in excess of 3-5000 miles before the brakes would wear out.

brakes are simple, especially compared to what you have done already.

the jackass still hasn't paid you and you have to work on it for free ?
Time to Repo the bike and sell it on Craiglist.
With friends like that, who needs enemies?
