Thaw it out, then hit it with some WD-40. That will keep it from re-freezing.

Hi Troops. Just wanted to show how an ENRICHER(CHOKE) works: Notice the Mark I put on next to the Rubber part. The Plunger is actually inside the hole about 1/8 of an inch. Alleyoop Cold Enricher Retracted Motor OFF: Warm Enricher Started to EXTEND Motor Running: Hot Enricher Fully EXTENDED Motor Running about 3 minutes: Here is a live Video of the Enricher(Choke) working: Scooter Enricher(Choke) and how it works. The Default of the Enricher(Choke) on a Scoot is the Plunger is Retracted when Cold. Once you start the Engine it receives Voltage and starts to Heat up the Element inside and the Plunger starts to Extend out to shut off the Extra fuel from coming in. It takes about 2-3 minutes for it to fully extend and it extends about 1/4 inch. Once fully Extended it completely blocks the fuel opening and no more extra fuel is feed to the engine. Once you shut the engine off the Plunger will Retract as it cools and it will be ready for the next cold start to allow extra fuel to the engine. Here is a live Video of the Enricher(Choke) working: I have that same tool pouch!

The "Y" is to connect your Vacuum lines up to. The one is already connected to the Carb Diaphgram Deceleration pump then the BOTTOM of the "Y" connects to your Nipple on the INTAKE Tube and the other part of the "Y" connects to your Fuel Pump or Petcock Vacuum side. Alleyoop Thanks so much. I don't have that hooked up now and it running good. I'll hook it up and see what happens. Amazing! I don't even have to give her any throttle to get her to start now!

Tvnacman, Here is a real good deal, by the 3 for $120.00 bucks and you get extra Diaphgrams plus Fuel Filters with each:) They are good Carbs That is what I am currently running with in my Trike. Most other places want from $60.00 to $80.00 for the EXACT same Carb. Alleyoop www.scootusa.com/386.htmI have that carb. I'm wondering what that extra line w/the "Y" in it is for?
