Luke, just noticed your new avatar. As a good ol Southern Boy I can tell that you never have eaten Possum. A two lb. Possum will render 5 lbs. of grease. Wrapping him in bacon will only make it worse.!!!!!!! And Alley is right. Those are sure are some long legs!

Well, here it is-Friday, and colder than a well diggers posterior. In the 20s tonight, another winter storm to hit NGA with snow, ice, whatever, due to hit next Tuesday thru to Thursday. Would y'all Yankees please keep y'alls snow up there. We really enjoyed the 6" snow that lasted a week but we dont need any more reminders of how fortunate we are to live in the usually snowless and mild wintery South.

Haggle, just like buying a new car. Here super unleaded has reached $3.59 in some places, jumped 8 cents at all stations across the board, reg., unleaded., and super yesterday. Will it help scooter/mc sales? Perhaps, but I think most in this country think of these vehicles as recreational rather than utilitarian. This attitude may change if and when gas hits $5.00 or more a gallon but then only for city and burb dwellers. My wifes daily trip to her job is 50 miles round trip. We live in the county. It is all going to be determined by economics.

Scooterran, you were right on the money. In my case 36+75 = 111. Are we in the Twilight Zone yet?

Before this Lefty thing gets totally out of control. I am a True Lefty!!! Tha means that I am completely left handed and in my right mind. KZ, ok bike FINE wife. I learned speed shifting on a 36 Ford coupe running on gravel roads in the mountains------many years ago. Wish I could shift MC gears but dont have enough flexability in my ankles any more. So far as I am concerned if it is 2 wheels it is OK!!!

Cookies, that CFMoto is quite simular to the TGB R9i. I would stay with the TGb because the 2 I have have proven to be what I was looking for. JMO. Jim, I am like Oop in that while i am quite mobile, an old back injury makes it easier for me to step thru. and I agree that there really is no need for us to choose one over the other. Both are good, it is just a matter of personal needs and requirements. The Real Lefty

I understand and agree to a point. I personally wont buy another but my dealer looked at some when he was in FL and the dealer there said he was having no problems with the 011 300s. I think that you make a good point in that they abandoned the clients that needed a reverse and wanted a 150 and took the easy way out. I think we will go with David Srs. approach and take the trannies down and see if there is a bearing missing. Another idea would be to put in a go cart rear end. I will sell mine once it is repaired and stick to the 2 wheelers. Probably willl pick up a new TGB/Peirspeed R9i sports model for the coming summer riding. For any one else reading this I can highly reccomend Jim having done parts business with him. Jim, has IB ever come out with a true service manual?

a great article. I stay with scoots because, for me, they are more practical. I love a good motorcycle but I get more bang for the buck with a scoot. If I need to go really fast I would get a bank loan and a Honda Silverwing!!!!!

We have still some snow in the shady places but the drive is clear, the wife can report to her job site, and it is supposed to stay warm til friday when it dips into the 30s again. No snow predicted, no snow wanted!!!
