I did some more research, damn there are always drawbacks. The top speed was not far off, it is 59.6. Weight limit is 330lbs (I am 350lbs) and this scooter has the most worst reviews of any scooter on the market. I rescinded my offer. I got me this one for $1600 shipped. 257cc engine and all the gadgets i need. it is a 2007 though still new in the crate and never been titled.  |

I called the dealer. Can't sell in certain states because of emissions laws. I guess more states are like Cali now. The engine is the 244cc 250 and that is no good and the 58mph and 13hp typos was a "stupid employee" his words..lol. He has 6 of them and I offered him $1,000 cash shipped and he hasn't got back to me. For a grand it will be a fun toy. I told him I won't go a dollar more. Make and model is SunL SL-250-2.

It says it has the 250cc engine but a top speed of 58? Also says 13hp. I looked at it yesterday but it is the LOWEST model of JCL's catalog. Does not even have a tachometer. Too many issues. I am in the market for a 250cc, like i will buy today or tomorrow but I won't risk this one.

I have a chance to buy one with less than 1k miles for $1200 but I am just not sure of the styling. I like all the things you mentioned about it and I think the ride would be way easier on my broken back. Have you maxed her out on speed yet? Does that star trek dash have a tach?

I bought me 2 heavier duty shocks for the rear end of my scooter and they are wider and a bit longer. I should of asked this question before I bought them but can you put longer shocks on? I want some more support for my large frame and I am hoping what I bought will work. They were on clearance and I bought them cheap. They are approx 1 inch longer.

I have a sprint htc evo 4G Phone that has good gps and dash aps. But I don't use it much. Roy I have a sprint car kit for this phone I can sell ya cheap. it charges it also. |
