Hey, just call me Zoomer, that's been my nickname forever. I jsut bought this: and don't know squat about it except it runs like crap. I bought from my sister in law because she got a divorce and needed the coin. Well, I do know SOMETHING about it, it's butt ugly. Anybody else have one of these monstrosities? Anyway, I'm from Mobile AL so howdy and glad to meet y'all. Zoomer OMG. I have been looking for one of these FOREVER!...lol..not really. If they are a clone of the Honda Helix should it not be easy to get parts? With your description of the engine I take it is not a GY6 engine? I thought the GY6 engine is a clone of the 1980's Honda engine? I am new to scootin so I may be wrong. Good luck bud.

There are several videos on YouTube about how to do both things. great resource. I learned valve adjustments and many other things from there.

I've seen that style exhaust on Ebay and was considering one. How does it sound? It sounds great but I had to take the header to a local muffler shop and have it bent a little to come close to fitting. The rest was done by a big effin hammer. No way to secure the muffler to anything. It was a frustrating install but once it is on it looks and sounds great. If I get time I will post a video of the sound.

Scooter engines have individual personalities. So what works for one won't necessarily work on another. It is a trial and error system. Find out what size jet is in it now and go up 2 sizes. That is a good starting point. 110- 125 is a pretty good spread, It may take a few tries to get it right. Roy How can I find out what the original size is without pulling the carb out? I cannot be without my little scooter..lol

Currently I have the stock 24mm carb on my GY6 150cc engine and I installed a UNI air filter on it yesterday and I have lost some throttle response. I have read that you need to replace the jets when you install a performance air filter. I won't have my new Mikuni carb for a couple weeks. What size jets would you guys recommend for this situation? I have read so many different recommendations from 110-125. Thanks for any help.

I got most of mine there. I have an original owners manual that mine came with and an assembly instruction sheet. is that what you want?

It is amazing what I have learned in 3 days since I bought this thing. The web is amazing with videos to teach me to change the fluids and adjust the valves and what is recommended in the performance area. Luckily we have a place to buy some stuff in stock here in Denver. I 6'3" and 375lbs and I can get up to 62mph according to my GPS. Out of all the scooter forums I have browsed this one was my fav so I joined.
