Sounds like your list is good. hafe you tried some "liquid wrench" on the bolt? The bolt should be easy to replace once you get it off. just a thought, is it a left handed bolt? (probably not, but you never know).

I solved my "not clearing the hump" problem with a FS carb. the old vac carb wea just to long. My FS carb gives great throttle response, and just barely fits in with the aluminum intake.

I've been using my mini oil catch can (pics in the custom section) for more tha 2k miles. works great unless you blow your rings and start leaking exhaust gas into the valve cover (my little catch can melted).

I completely disagree Alleyoop, the new cylinder and piston I just installed from him are clearly better quality than my NCY one that had the cylinder fail. If I hadn't already ditched the old one, I woud post pics. Rick has always responded to emails quickly and in a couple of cases when I was going to buy from him he told me his product was not good for my application. Did you talk to Rick about your problem with the variator?

after having bought several times from him, if you use his ebay site, I don't think there is a need for further discount, I guess I mean I don't think he could discount stuff much more than it is. his prices are crazy already and service is top notch!

OK, sorry, I have not chimed in on this one. my scoot is a full 2 1/2" lower than stock, but I am not sure if that is enough for you. Here is what I did. I have the lowering brackets from Enviromoto, as well as a set of adjustable rear shocks that I adjusted as short as they will go. This gave me the 2 1/2" in the rear. In the front, I unscrewed the tops of the forks and removed the springs. I cut out 2 1/2" I put the springs back in and put in about 3 tablespoons of 10 weight fork oil in each fork. It works great. You will have to remove or modify the center stand as well as the kickstand. I removed my center stand and will most likely cut off the mounts because when I lean hard, the mounts send up sparks. The kick stand I put in a pipe bender and bent it out. I am going to build a custom kick stand to give it more lean, but so far it works very well! Check my pics in my sig.

250 miles later, and all seems well. gonna change the oil to full synthetic, and pull the valve cover to make sure all is tight, and re-check valves. still tking it a little easy, but seems great. The 10g sliders had very smooth acceleration, but RPM's were to high. swapped in three 16g rollers for a temporary fix and will order a set of 12g and 13g sliders from Scrappydog (quickly becoming my favorite seller).

I got a screaming deal on the same air box over the winter, and like you, no-go. I didn't even post it because it's not worth it. I havent even tried to resell it because I wouldnt do that to someone. The filter is tiny, (K&N style) and way restrictive. If I could put my UNI in it, maybe.... but I like my current set up.

Got the oil leak fixed, I should remember not to trust or use the thin green gasket that comes with these kits. I had to make my own last time and did again this time and no leaks!
