Last night when I got off the I-10 I noticed that my bike began to to ride strangely. When my speed drops below 40 MPH It wants to slow its self down furthermore when I take off from a stop it sputters burps and bogs till about MPH then it rides smooth and normal. I am wandering if something go into my carb jets. Today I disconnected the fuel line just before the carb to see how the gas comes out from the fuel pump while the bike is running. The gas seems to have pressure kinda of a medium trickle. I am going to do a vale adjustment but I am unsure that it needs it because it idles fine just does not take off like normal as of last night. I use this to go to work so any help would be awsome is that the Fuel pump in the picture? Attachments:

I need to use your brain again.. Ok. This is what I am working on. I have a speedometer cable and I know how to connect it and where It connects to. BUT! On my front tire there are two bolts A Big on the brake side and a smaller one on the other. I got the small one loose but did not back off far because the bolt does not come back but tightens so I left the scoot like she is until I hear back from you on what I need to do to get to the speedometer. I would guess the shock swings out of the way or I may have to unbolt it. I also am guessing that the other bolt on the front tire will hold it up? ?? I need big time help thanks.... Thanks Brandon Ponthier tbx260 257cc

There is a bearing in the the mount that the engine shaft goes through. This is the mount that the muffler bolts onto. Anyone know how to get that bearing out?

I am getting a fast feeling vibration in my seat and below it. I looked at the rear wheel bearing and from what I can tell it looks ok. Now my front tire has about 12000 miles on it and when I looked at it I noticed what looked like pyramids on it, but could a front tire cause it to vibrate under my behind and rear... Also It only does this from 50-55mph and not as bad at 60mph. I also wander if there are wheel balance weights on these tires.
Back tire is new
thank you Brandon P

sweet ride ya what kiwiscoot said ,where are the pic's ? how long did it take?,any close call's ?, did you steel butt the ride or take butt breaks? <<...lol. did you wish for a taller windshield?(will be ordering one for our stile scoots tomarrow,pm me) do you have sliders or roller,s? ok ok i'll stop there ,.wait... did you go back yet ? if you need a place to change oil..you can stop at my place for dinner and an flued change..lol Ha ha ha your funny.. looks like we have the same bike.. I left at 430am and got back around 430pm 530pm ish Its was and easy ride I thought. It only took me about 4 fill ups or 7 gallons of gas so 2 fill up`s and one gallon. I hoped on and off the interstate 65 and 59 south but try-ed to catch as much of HW11 as I could. I wanted to take pics but I forgot I packed the camera up in the back of the truck :/ Yeah I really I made the whole trip in one day which was this past Saturday. I had to drive the scoot down because I had a job transfer from TN to LA. I work for UPS :/ All in all I stayed cursing at speeds from 55 to 73 with some room to spare but I knew it was a long hall so I went easy. But if anyone wants to make a long drive like this I would buy the $9 Castro's racing oil. Thank you for all my readers Should of seen the looks on those faces on the HW when the scoot was passing them up. I am closeing on 12,000 miles E3.36 dimond fire plug change drive belt at 10k chaged rollers 8k they look ok 14g I use Q-horse power Full Syn 5.86 per QT Sea foam 1oz per gallon about once per month I added a larger battery and installed a radio I have done 3 valve adjusts Ill add some pics I need a new variator seal any one know ware I can get one.

I will look into all of the sugestions I am reading. I just changed the drive belt at 10k along with the rollers and I also took the old grease out many times. I realy never did much stop and starting so I dont think the cluch pads should be worn to changeing time yet but I could be wrong. I comuted 60 miles a day with almost no stops. What is involved with removeing the cluch and bell. How do you remove and put back on the spring and whare and how much would a new spring and pads ext cost me.
I also read there is a tool for takeing off the spring.

When I take the cvt cover An pull the belt up and down it's loose an floppy but if I pull the variator off and put it back on the belt gets very tight.
With the belt tight the bike all around fells and runs better
i feel it down shifting around 15 to 18 mph
when I look at the x shaped plate on the variator it's pushed out posibley because one or some of the rollers may have come out but what could cause that?

I am over 11k miles and I have been noticing my drive belt keeps getting loose like really loose the only time its tight and giving the bike good take off speeds is when I take off the variator and put it back on. Is this the clutch tension spring? I also don't think its the rollers because I can feel it up and down shift at the correct speeds.

OK yesterday on my xingyue tbx-260 xy260t-4 I completed a trip from Fayetteville TN 37334 to new Orleans LA 70094 at speeds from 55 - 73mph. I tryed to take HW-11 as much as possible to avoid the interstate but it traversed like a champ.
Before I left I did a run through of checking bearings and greasing ware needed. Varaitor exct. I also purchased castrol Power RS Racing 4T SAE 10w-40 which ran me $18 for just 2 quarts I also replaced the drive belt and rear tire.
Thanks to everyone here who gave me the knowledge to have my scoot running for over 11500 miles and counting.
