im always happy when i see people help people, could b 1000's of miles away and get a scoot running.
now go for that ride & then re-tighten all your wires and other things u've played with during all this.
ehhh do it tomorrow

yeppers there is theres a whole 'page' that the guys here have, that spell out exactly how to do it, i dont have that so we will see if they post it
one prob might be, the EPA cracked down on chinese scooters alot of the newer ones have almost tamper proof a/f screws, but again these guys know a way around it
oh and another woman---love it!!!!!!!

this is stupid idea but sometimes my ideas works
have u jumped the solenoid yet? plus it may seem like ur starter is working, but it might not be fully engaged.
if when u jump the solenoid and it starts well you can rule out the starter being the prob.
have you even jumped it with a car? if not MAKE SURE THE FREAKING KEYS ARE OUT OF THE CAR OR IT WILL FRY UR SCOOT

well finally after many trails and errors and good suggestions the 'cat run" is finally done, im NOT gonna spend another dime on it. TILL i find another great idea--lmsao if you saw my other thread you will notice the changes
i took down the fence and cut & attached it to the run itself. i did put screen on the inside of the fence. So its the metal wire, screen then the fence. heres a shot from the street.
the side and back
the board on the outside is to try and stop the weather from getting into the tent. If u 'member there is a section of the cat run going thru the tent, so i wanted to stop the rain, snow, etc
this pic is looking down the inside of the 'run' from the corner near the street, down the side near the street.
this one is from the same corner going across the back of the tent pass the short cut thru the tent, to the jump up area to get back on the porch.
this is the front with the gate closed
gate open
the piece that goes across the front is held in by about 5-6 zip ties on each side here it is setting off to the side so i can get the scoot out
front section removed and with spare sections slightly zip tied, if i was leaving for a ride, it would be REALLY zip tied.
Chrissy 1/2 way out
all the way out
Chrissy tucked away, i have to turn the 'trunk' around , so it fits better she doesnt have the M/C cover on but if you notice, there's a disc brake lock, a heavy duty chain going thru the step thru, and a cable lock going thru the rear wheel
here you can see the 'battery tender' all ready connected, all i have to do is flip a switch inside and it turns that on.
just another shot from the front LIKE I SAID, THESE CATS ARE GOING TO BE WELL PROTECTED WHEN IM NOT HERE, AND IM NOT SPENDING ANOTHER FREAKING DIME, well until i find something cool so they can enjoy their life a bit better
AND JUST FOR NEW READERS
and heres the porch area
this isnt the greatest cat run i could make but we only own the 10 feet from porch to street and 6 inchs off the sidewalk around the house so VERY limited area

i got the 1st set cookies listed but found if i put them sorta behind me , like saddlebags should go, it covers up my airbox intake and rides on the exhaust. so i moved 'em as far forward as i can. doesnt interfere with the step thru and my feet. and they can rest on the passenger pegs. does look very silly but i dont care. lmsao

i have to agree the tom tom doesnt give you the 'big picture'
but for what i used it for was good. id transport my Chrissy to the mountains or w/e dont wanna ride it 400 miles to a camping site so i just loaded it on the van, and drove the van. then when i got to a camping site, id use the scooter to explore the area. id mark the spot, on the tom-tom on what was my 2nd home, the camping spot, then when id get lost. which i always do--because i make a left , a right, go straight, and get so turned around id have NO idea on how to get back to the camping spot. id just tell the tom tom to take me to the 2nd home. street by street directions back to the van

i just ran a fused wire to a cig is add a little cover/top to the top of the GPS to block sunglare, with some super glue.
What brand is yours and what size screen does yours have? With the antiglare top you have added, is it readily readable? its a tom-tom um 2in x 3in screen i think and the top i made---lol--- i had to keep experimenting with where it was mounted, the angle, etc i ended up using a 'windshield' mount, like you use on a car with suction cup. titled slightly down, and i had to make the 'top' to block the sun. BUT yes, i eventually got it to work great, w/o glare. but took a lot of experimenting because of the angle of the sun, (what time of day it was), if i was going into the sun, away from it. etc etc

NOPE only 8k on Chrissy, but then again i dont work, retired, so i dont have a 140 miles commute each day.
there quite a few ppl with that many miles, actually.
sea foam is a great thing to arse to your gas in the winter it absorbs the water that may collect and in the summer , same thing because of sweating, and it helps clean out that damn ethanol,

in Pa. if you buy a new car/scoot you should make dealer pay notary fees, i do but $38 / yr. for plate, registration and sticker tax is 6% of selling price, so get seller/dealer to say as low as possible-lol if you cant talk dealer into notary costs---i think $35 once my insurance is $8/ month
