i just ran a fused wire to a cig lighter plug, which i had mounted --this might drain your battery if left plugged in all the time i thought---- so i installed a quick disconnect at the positive battery post. and just left it un plugged until i wanted to use my GPS 10 seconds to open battery comp. and connect. then plug into cig lighter. i rigged a mount that you use in you car onto my windshield. the one thing i did have to do tho, is add a little cover/top to the top of the GPS to block sunglare, with some super glue. total cost $0 since i had everything laying aroundlooks professionally installed and everything lol

plus,
whenever you are selling something you always start at a high price so the perspective buyer can 'haggle' you down that way they think they saved money and you get what you really want

30 degrees is pretty cold for any bike motor. If you use it constantly at that temp you should run some Seafoam in the gas. It will keep crap from forming in the gas tank. and mainly in the carb
ive never cleaned my carb, because i run sea foam all year long 1 oz or so every other fill up but then again i only have a .9 gal tank

ok this will prob be last pics of the FINISHED cat run, well untill i get out and have to figure a way to get CHRISSY out of her tent garage, lol oh i put screens and boards on top of the runs so less snow, plus people wont be able to put stuff in
heres how they get out their door ( it is fixed so it can be closed and locked (dont like 'em out at night) there is supposed to be plastic over the opening, to let less air in, and there will be just took the pic to early
outside view
once they get out they can turn right, and go down the length of the porch or go straight to a jump down area behind the tent
if they turn right , theres the kittie condos i built, plus another jumpdown area
so they use the original jump down spot they are in front of the tent
now they can go thru the tent to the back ,or the new part, across the front of the tent
do ya see 'Homeless' and Chrissy's new chain??? so now if they go across the front they are connected to the part coming down the side of the tent, near the road
and then follow the back to the run going thru the tent or to the jump up area, back onto the porch, notice their sun porch?
Chrissy in her tent and covered for the winter my friend john is gonna start her and let her idle for 10-15 mins, couple times a week at least till it gets warm see the motion detector light on the telephone pole?
Larry Berry berry exploring his new run
and lastly, a view from the street.
THINK I LOVE MY KIDS ??
dang edit note::: i painted all kinds of lines on photobucket to point things out, and the pics on PB show the lines, but they dont appear here? oh well
NOW answer truthfully, AM I NUTS

bash tyvm, bud
i will def read that site, to gain some knowledge BUT i need to get it up and running in 2 days. so ill have to buy local , like wally world, best buy and Chrissy is way LOCKED up. , see my thread on cats run, the tent is totally surrounded by cat runs. EDIT:: O DIDNT POST CAT THREAD HERE, ILL DO THAT NOW--LMSAO but need to spend the least. i mean gee he doesnt even own a TV, so if i get one that has 10+ more local channels , maybe he will sit here, a couple - 3 days a week for 2-3 hours, that would be great, for the kids.
i also have Dish. but i have it set to cancel on the 5th. since i wont be here. my TV is always on, if just for background noise. But i dont wanna pay for Dish for 6-9 hours a week? o & BTW my TV is like 10 years old so its the ol' analog ones but thats what the box is for.
thanks for the input

as i understand the type of converter people use doesnt make that much of a difference BUT the antenna does. now i know WHERE you are is important but can anyone suggest a antenna, that is good for about anywhere. that picks up both UHF and VHF signals
also i need answers quick. thank you very much
my friend John, who is gonna watch the kids doesnt even have a tv at home. But, now, last night i decided that if he can watch tv, here, he might sit here for a couple hours at night. rather than get bored and leave the kids.He sat here for 3 hours and watched TV last night
i asked him about this for the last couple months and he always said 'naw he dont need it'. BUT now i have to jump thru my butt and get the converter box, and a antenna that works really well. and i have what ? 2 days?? hes totally incompetent, when it comes to anything TECHNICAL. so i dont want to leave it to him, hell he might not even be able to connect the box to the TV But i want him to sit here for a couple hours a day a few days a week
so please any suggestions o and i dont want to spend a ton
thanks

I'm just thinking about cleaning the carb someday, it's never beed clean the right way since I goy scoot, only thing I did was adjust float and clean the inside. Is there a cleaner that would get to all those areas without taking carb off? NOT TO HIJACK YOUR THREAD BUT................. richard i have never cleaned my carb and i have over 8000 miles on it BUT i run about 1oz of seafoam every other tank full my tank is only .9 of a gal tho
i keep "Chrissy" in a tent garage. and was worried about it sweating in the summer so i run seafoam all year long, not just when they add ethanol and moisture in the winter.
but then again i have had so few probs with her i guess i got the "gold scooter" under the wrapper lmsao
