hi Sprocket have a good week! the tail light should come on believe the tao taos like my vip. motor has to be running to get headlight on. juz a thought. And this is what Lisa sent me in a mail yesterday about checking for spark on it the scoot wont turn over....
First of all I would like to say thank you so very much for taking the time to reply back, let alone your continued suggestions and help. You have given me far better and more reasonable advise than anyone! As for the kickstart, excellent advice and noted! I have watched videos how to check for spark, however my scooter wont turn over so no I have not been able to check for spark

Hi windy here in pahrump! should only have one sparkplug i pic you posted was small might be an "extra" plug in case you foul out the other one and do you have to pull in one of the brake levers to start it? if so that switch might be bad and some of the kickstands also have a safety switch to prevent starting and driving off with it down too.. terry

nice ride so does BMW now stand for Break My Wallet. if its reliable like the X5 suv my wife had in 2001 its worth it. I wonder if they have free maint included on it like the cars?? The whole time we had the X5 just paid for gas, oil, and tires everything else was covered. Even wiper blades! just pull in a dealer and they'd replace it no cost. Then it would be worth the $ terry

thanks im not WFO'in it yet(wondering if the crank/bottom end will hold up with the increase to 80 cc's? i'd trust it on a honda we used to get Xtreme with those and they held up even the old SL70s damn i'm dating myself now hey is that my motor knocking? oops rigor mortis never mind.. dont no about Rice a Roni motors reliablity yet! (time will tell) put another 30 mi on it and dumped the oil so far so good nice day to ride here in nevada 65 and barely a breeze now if we could get rid of the 4 wheelers(cars) off the road haha UPDATE 3/23 have 2nd oil change on "YELLOW FEVER" and 120 miles so far so good nice bottom end and mid range so far and no paranoia yet about the crank..... fun factor? HELL YES! thanks again gang for all the help and glad the people on here are knowledgable and not out bickering and slamming one another!! Terry well have about 170 mi on "Yellow fever" so far so good it still hasnt scattered. no doin too bad.. fun for a <150 grocery getter.
