Here's one that I don't think I've posted, it's a pic of the roadrunner and my wifes 50cc tank in our front yard.

I thought I did already,I haven't taken any new pics in the last couple of weeks. I did however reach the breakin point and I took it in this Friday and had the oil and gear oil changed, alignment checked and the valves adjusted, belt checked and the brakes were adjusted because they or rather the antilock stuff was clicking like when you pedal a 10 speed bike backwards, yeah, everyone knows that sound.anyway,I took it in at 9 am and they called me to come and pick it up at 2:30 pm. I had it out on the highway to work and opened her up a little and according to my GPS I was going 78 mph on a flat 2 mi strech, the rpm was up to 8500 rpms but I know my tach is very jumpy and sporatic,oh yeah that's another thing I had done to her,I had them put me in a power socket so I can use my GPS without batteries or plug in my cell phone or stop and light me up a big fat stinky cigar. Oh yeah one more thing and I'm not SPAMMING for anyone, but I got a GPS handlebar mount for a great price at a place called gpscity.com on the net and it works perrrrfect dawwlings, now try getting that out of a cola nut.Oh hey one more I got a cool full size scorpion helmet with the face sheild and the wind don't bother my ears or eyes any more. I also found out that either brake handle works all brakes at once...nobody told me that until friday, that wasn't even in the manual even though very little is in the manual.

Hey friends, My shocking confession is.........My first trike that I fell in love at first site with was the Ice Bear COMPELLAR Man!!!~I still think that it's the hottest looking bike ever. I was just days away from getting one until my dealer told me that he was temporarily stopping all sales until the Mo. attorney settled a dispute with the company. Then I saw the Sunny 300 Roadrunner and the rest was history.I still intend to put a Compellar in my stable one of these days,I just hope that they're still making them so I can get one for my wife ,Oh yeah,I'd have to be the one to break it in for her ;D ;D ;D Those things are cool, cool, cool, lookin.

Hey friends, I really love talking to people about my new scooter and how great it handles and how much I enjoy riding it,But, about evry other a d-ck will come along and ask me how I like it and start telling me about all of it's problems like lack of power, heavy vibrations, bad rear end problems and such. And how do they know that my bike has all of these problems? there answer is always that a friend they knew use to have one awhile back, and when I asked what kind of bike it was the answer is always "I don't remember but I know it was one of those CHINESE peices of crap that they sell on the internet. They start telling me that I'll be disapointed with the handling and it doesn't have enough power to go up hills and that it will start falling apart even before the warranty is up...Hmmm!! They don't even give you time to answer their questions. One older very heavy set man in a suv along with 2 elderly woman in the car started asking me questions and before I could even answer him he started saying that he read about my bike or the exact same kind on the internet and my bike can't even go the speed limit on the highway. I told him that if the article was in fact about my bike that it was dead wrong, he then TOLD me that I was going to go across town and get on the highway so he could follow me in his suv to prove that I was wrong....Yeah right, I asked him if he was used to insulting people he doesn't even know and commanding them to prove or not prove themselves wrong about stuff he read about on the net??? His wife said "yeah, quit being rude Wayne" and the man started yelling "Well it's people like ME that are ruining the economy by buying those Chinese peices of crap". Then there's the neighbor that came over to look at it the day that I brang it home and told me how cool it looked and told me don't run into anything with it because it's all made out of cheap chinese plastic unlike the HARLEY davidsons that are all steel. I informed that neighbor that I promise not to go out and run into a brick wall with my bike and that I'd leave that task for the HARLEY riders. JEES,people need to get a life and relearn some manners,I mean how do they expect the younger generations to learn manners when the older ones are so eager to throw down the trash at someone they don't even know. OK end of rant. Like I said, ask me anything you want but be civil about it. daddue11 Steve

Yep,I'm kind of curious about that myself, I hope there is not a magical drop off point,There doesn't seem to be, So far I've had her cruising for several miles at 65 at about half throttle but I don't know what it does after that . The tach was at 4500 rpms and my redline starts at 6000 and goes to 9500 so I was scared to push it any further and I only had my half helmet on and the bugs getting in my eyes was nasty that day. daddue11 Steve.

It's been awhile since I've posted here about my new reverse trike. I keep falling in love with her even more,I'm taking her in for her 500 mi. checkup this saturday and having a few things installed like a 12v plugin socket and a few other little niceities. I've become very proficient at the operating and handling of the ole girl and am thrilled every time I ride her.the cornering is superb and the ride is smooth. Now,there has been a few quirks that I had to take care of before I was pleased with her, here is the small list of things that I changed or fixed with her. 1.the awful placement of those goofy little front fenders. I had to bend the braces that bolt to the wheel hub because both sides were way to close to the tire and when you'd hit a bump they'd squeak against the tire, the frames are easily bent by hand. Then bent the small retangle tabs that hold the fenders to the frame so that the fenders were not beeing gouged and chipped by them.thirdly I cut some new feul line into aproximately 1/4 inch washers or spacers and placed them between the mounting tabs and the fenders and then put the fender bolts in and tightened them up snugly, now they never rattle, chip under the fender or squek at all in the last 200 miles.P.S. I used a cresent wrench adjusted to the thickness of the tabs to bend them to the right shape. 2. If you hear squeaking from the front fenders...Make sure you check and snug the easy to get to bolts (only 2 of them) that fasten the fender mounting frame to the wheel hub(very simple),because they do tend to loosen up slightly around every 250 miles and that will keep the turkey squeaks away. 3.Very IMPORTANT!!!! Before you ever ride ANY bike,Buy a good tire gauge...and don't even THINK about SETTING on the bike until you check each and every one of the tire"s pressure. This is extremely true for the Sunny Roadrunner 300 rev trike, because the handling depends on it. If you even have one tire that is higher or lower pressure than the others and whewee!!! brother, your gonna feel it with really squishy or squirrelly handling. Makes good sense also. 4.Every time I hear a little sqeak from a loose screw or bolt on the bike I put some locktite on it and tighten it back up. 5.I found out that to MASTER this bike you need to...PRACTICE,PRACTICE.and then PRACTICE some more. I had to loose all fear of riding this strange looking and handling bike and use practicle everyday caution before I became comfortable with it and now I'd absolutely confidently put it up against any other kind or brand of trike and some motorcycles(2 wheelers) for handling period. 6.I also check the oil and coolant levels before riding. I ride at least 27 miles every other day on an old secondary highway (old us hwy 60 in Mo.)where there's very little if any traffic while I'm riding, and,I always take my tool bag filled with a full set of METRIC tools along with me. Oh yeah and I make sure I check my lug nuts on the front wheels before I ride. I may sound like I'm preaching rules or something, but, these things have factually helped me on this bike and were necessary for me to keep it in tip top shape and made me giggling with joy after EVERY trip. I hope this helps my friends here. daddue11 Steve

Hello friends,I'm redoing an old 2 stroke 6volt 50cc scooter that has been setting around an old barn for around 10 yrs now,I've changed the spark plug, oil,cv fluid, had new tires balanced and and made and replaced the intake gaskets had it running in 2 days. Now,I have only one more thing to replace and that's the exhaust gasket. Can I get away with making an exhaust gasket out of the same gasket paper as the intake or does it have to be a metal one or is there a cilicone substance that I could use?? Any reply will be welcome. Thanks daddue11 Steve

Its been great to follow along! I also forgot to ask are these trike air cooled or liquid cooled? I see every dealer is different on this? I love this trike... That would be liquid cooled.

Awesome looking scoot, hope you get all the bugs out, glad to met you, ride safe and have Fun, Fun, Fun. Thank you richard,I've had the most fun i've ever had in a long time . There really wasn't really much bugs per say,I think most of it was I just had to get used to the bike and even getting used to riding again,A few tweaks here and there and now I wouldn't trade it for anything. Now I've just got to grow some Cahonies and start riding it to work on the BIG highways. I've almost overcome my fears of the other vehicles now. I've had several severe accidents due to other drivers supposedly not seeing me :-/and one tree falling on me (that's another story),so I sold my Silverwing and hadn't ridden for ten years until lately. I am like you said though, having fun, fun, fun ;D ;D ;D daddue11 Steve

The wife and I took the same ride tonight and had the most awsome time, The more I get to ride my 300 the more I realize how awsome this bike is,I can't say enough about the handleing on this thing once you get used to it there's no comparison to it,especially on the cornering,it is so sweet and the lights are better than any bike I've ridden hands down. Now,I can't wait till I get my GPS handlebar mount for my Magellan meridian gold so I can tell EXACTLY how fast I'm going without taping my handy conversion chart to the dash. I love the all digital dash,BUT,everything is in metric Bleck!!! And this might sound wimpy or washy but my wife and I were already very close but riding our scoots together has made us even closer and it has given us an appreciasion of each other...I'd recomend it to any couple. Hell I even think going on a ride with a person that you don't like might help you see each other in a different light. JMO daddue11 Steve.

Hello friends,The wife and I went for a ride this evening between 35-40 mi.,It was a very chilly but extremely fun ride, saw alot of deer and went on some dirt roads that we had never been on before. The Roadrunner did excellent with no front end probs and most of all no fishtailing from the rear at all. I finally filled her up with gas for the first time, now I can really check the mpg. My Liberty handled beautifully and I drove her for several miles at 65+ at about half throttle just to see if she'd shake or wobble or be hard to handle in any way and I was so proud of the crisp lane changing and passing abillity she showed,we even went through some shin high mud at the bottom of a dirt road dip and she pulled without even spinning even though she couldn't just idle through it.But,to tell you the truth I am mostly proud of how my wifes little Tank ran and handled on the dirt roads and after changing spark plug and putting in fresh gas(the previous owner always mixed 2stroke oil in every tankful) the power was like a totally new bike.I think I made a good choice by buying it for her. Well, that's all I have to report untill later.....P.S. I really think that the fishtailing from before was just the lashing from a vicious crosswind that we kept encountering that day. no probs this ride. daddue11.

Hello friends,I now have around 235km on the road Roadrunner and a couple of bugs are starting to make their way out in the open and here is the ones that I've found so far. Front fenders come from the factory or shop either one with sharp straight metal mounting brackets meeting curved plastic fenders with no rubber gromets or any kind of buffering to prevent chipping, rattles or scarring,so,I took the fenders off and made some rubber pads and cut holes to match the mounting brackets and remounted the fenders,RESULTS,no rattles or squeaks even on bumpy dirt roads and no more pressure under the fenders. I've also noticed that if I'd goose the throttle and let off suddenly that I would feel the rear do a slight fishtail,I've checked the presure in the rear tire and it is spot on,I've put it up on the stand to see if the axle nut or anything was loose back there and nothing.Well,Yesterday I took it out for a 28 mile trip and it wasn't doing it anymore even if I tried to make it,The only thing that I could think of was that when it was doing this I was riding in a stiff side wind and when I'd let off the throttle suddenly then the wind would try to push the bike or the light rear end the other way.(dunno for sure). Thats about where she stands right now ladies and gents,I still love that crisp throttle she has even though I don't get to use it yet, and the fron't alighnment has held up beautifully without any quirks and I'm still deeply in love with my LIBERTY. OH yeah, the handling?? Piece of cake now. daddue11 Steve
