Usually the problems with the reeds is the petals get weak and do not close and stay open a little making them run rich so flipping them fixes that problem. I assume your fuel delivery is Gravity having the tank in back higher than the carb.
Make sure the fuel line from the tank to the carb is going down to the fuel inlet of the carb. No ups or downs as straight a shot as possible. Also make sure the tank is venting, in hot areas if the tank is not venting good it stops and or slows the flow of fuel from the tank. You can try it crack the fuel cap open a little so it vents really good and run the sucker wot and see if it helps. Alleyoop

I sure hope so for your sake, You have worked to hard on this scoot, no spark those two parts are the only two left that can effect spark. No power to the CDI or no Pickup Signal to the CDI both will cause a no spark. Alleyoop

Could be the plunger not returning and the brakes always haveing pressure. Here is how the Hydraulic mechanism works on your scoot: Check on the side as you press the brakes and you will see the brake handle push the plunger and when you release it the plunger should come back out. If it is getting stuck that will keep pressure on the brake piston and on the brake disc. Alleyoop scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/8198/hydraulic-disc-brakes-working

Cool if all are flickering then something is not good.

Yea check the wires going to the socket of the bulb, the sockets are very cheap and even on my own I had to fix my tail light sockets, one wire was completely loose and just vibrating around. THE GROUND wires for the lights are usually GREEN.
I do not like that it did not register more than 13+ when revved up that is not good really, revved up it should register 13+ if a really good R/R 14+ . Alleyoop

If your CVT has 8 BOLTS holding yes it is the SHORT CASE MOTOR. Here is my motor it is a 157QMJ which is probably what yours is. The motor stamp you will find on the crankcase here: I have a pull start on mine as well BUT I took it off because if you pull it, it unscrews the Variator Nut then you hear a nasty metal to metal noise and that is the Fan hitting the inside of the case and now you need a new fan (HAHA). ASK ME HOW I KNOW

Check what the r/r is doing if it is putting out a good charge to the battery. So check the battery and what it registers when at idle. Now I do have to tell you that MOST and JUST about all scooters the Lights dim and flicker AT IDLE. But if you bring up the RPMS they brighten up and get steady. So first check if they still flicker at higher rpms. Alleyoop

The lights flickering could be due to the R/R and or the Stator.
There is no way to know which stator is on your scoot we could take a good guess by the wiring and color of the wires but no guarantees and the bad part is usually once you buy an electrical part YOU OWN IT they will not take electrical parts back.
I think we are GUESSING it is a 11 pole stator(which is a rare animal by the way) if I remember right due to the wiring and color of the wires as well as the number of wires.

WOW!! I honestly have to say I never seen one like this beast Well order the stator and pickup coil now if it still dies and no spark then BURN THE SUCKER But that teaches all of us something, IF you see your R/R burnt to smithereens then problems could be due to the stator.

Great, just nice and light covering and that stuff turns into rubber and it will fill in any inperfections on each surface it is high temp and should not leak. Alleyoop
