"pyramids" ? i to have just noticed a vibration , can you elaborate on the pyramids, i just put new tires front and back les than a thousand miles !

i agree sir, i went for a scoot yesterday and had to keep an eye on speed ,betty blue just wanted to GO,GO, I try to keep it around 60 or so ,but kept creeping up on 70+.
i just clicked off 5.000 miles and loving every minute of it!

OK so i got the windshield in today from helmethead.com
wow that was fast .sorry i don't have any pic,s yet my wife took the cam today, but i will have some soon
1st things 1st, did it fit?..well yes,kinda!the mounting holes are spot on perfect! but...the lower sides that are for handle grip protection are vary tight, and i do mean VARY , so i will be getting some thing to shave that down a hair ,no biggie, then there is the front cover , well the givi shield has a more pronounced bevel to it , so that will need some shaping as well, still no biggie , with a dremmel i got that!.
As for function..wow it is just what i was looking for i had rode for about 2 miles before i realized i had not closed my face shield , and i can hear the engine clear as hell now,
there is a drawback though, it has some back draft to it ,by that i mean i can feel a force pushing on the back of my helmet ,but it's not much,just enough to feel it, after riding for about 40+miles ,i can say it will be great for winter,spring and fall but middle summer it's going to be HOT,so i do still have my old stock one!
i am still vary glad i got it ,i can even turn my head at speed and not feel a thing,with the old shield it felt as if the wind were about to rip my head off ;D
as for quality, no comparison, givi is top notch it almost looks as if it is magnified , and as clear as air, till a damn bug hit's !

in an earlier post you can see where someone else got this windshield for hi/her vog 260, we all know that this is the same as my scoot xy260t-4 ,as a matter of fact i got a swing arm from a dismantled bms 260,as there are many members with this style scoot now i will make sure to let all know how good it fit's .
this scoot is the 1st i have had with a windscreen at all , and i love it, i was always the 1st one to say if you have a mc ..its to feel the wind ,and freedom of it,!but after riding the scoot and not having the constant force pushing you back i noticed how much longer i could ride without fatigue,now i am wanting even more..i want the wind out of my ear's and face ;D

well years ago just before katrina my nephew (10 years old at the time) asked me to take him hunting as i had tought him target shooting and i said the same thing ,we have stores to get food from now, after katrina ,no stores no gas to get to stores,nephew asked ok how bout now!, i said well sure little man , go get the FISHING poles ready!!
