I did that already didn't seem to be leaking, so would an intake manifold spacer stop it from doing this or is there a different issue?

My scooter just started this today i took it off the centerstand it died instantly wouldn't start back up, put it back on the centerstand it fires right back up take it off dies again. I take the carb off clean it check the hoses put in a new fuel filter same issue i lift the carb up from the bottom with my hand and it starts when off the centerstand, i put a piece of wood under the carb between the float bowl and engine since the 24mm carb on my 50cc hits the motor and it runs fine drove it around. Just wondering why it started doing that? Been driving it for months no issue, maybe i need to put in an intake spacer since i've been running without one, i'm guessing its flooding when the carb gets bumped since it sits on the motor, just strange it starts this after months of riding with no issues

i changed my weights and cleaned up my variator theres a line scratch on three of the ramps on the flatter part of the ramp will this hurt anything performance wise, i suspect its the cover with guides that put the scratches in it
