Man does that mother run!. in the end what RPM'S should this thing run at my guage says about 1800 it is a full needle mark before 2000 and the back wheel barely turns. Next emmision controls I don't want to throw them away and I know I'll never use them again is there any DIY's for what I can use the tubes and canasters if not well I hate to fill the landfill but I don't want to keep them around if nothing can be used with them. the hose's I will keep cause ya never know

So let get this straight I need to run a single ground wire from the harness to a ground then I also need to run a single ground wire from the cdi(the green wire) to a ground on the bike? Sorry I am just making sure I read your answer to my problem. I'm not trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. PJ

Those are the plugs off of both the scooters the colors match on the old one the difference is the new one . What I am doing is taking out my 50cc and putting in a new 80cc complete motor. I have all new equipment with the new one just some slight differences but those are cosmetic. My wiring is different with the new motor all I want to know is do i need to make another ground(thats easy) and do I have to move the white over one position?

When the new motor arrived I noticed that it was only similar to the fact that it was the same size and shape with only one difference look at the photo's below the first is the old one the second pic is the new one The tube on the old one has no screw holes for it to be bolted to the new scooter can i do something fairly easy to solve this delema. Do I need the hose closest to you and slightly to the right?

Today I started my engine swap and I discovered that the stator btw is both 8 coils so I dont' have to swap them but the wiring is different the new one has 2 wires yellow and white The old motor has 3 wires Can I use this harness the way it is and were does the green wire go is it a ground because I can make my own ground? I really don't want to put anymore pressure on the flywheel because I've tried to pull it off and it wont budge. Assistance is need please I'd like to get the motor put in tomorrow and have it running.

The engine above is actually an option on Tank scooters before they went out of business. You could say it part of an "upgrade" like you used to be able to do with cars. The car orginally was a stock v6 but if you want the v8 package it was considered an 'upgrade" I think you understand what I'm talking about. My question is what to do with Betsy(the motor I'm taking out)? I'm thinking of a 100cc racing motor just to have for fun.

I ordered a new piece of equipment from Rapid Repair on Wednesday and today to my surprise it was here! I haven't put it in yet but just the service alone is wonderful. The motor looks beautiful and I can't wait to install it in my scooter!. There is nothing I can say otherwise and all in all I'd recommend you to seek Rapid repair for all your needs!

Earlier this week I called Rapid Jim to see about getting an 80cc kit for the scooter. He made a deal I couldn't refuse. I was expecting it to arrive at my house sometime early next week. To my surprise its here today that is 3 day's WOW WOW I feel like a kid in a candy store. So anyways he's a really nice guy and very prompt about getting what he sells out to his customer's. I'd recommend him to anyone.
