Some people need to be reminded what the reason for this day is.
It's to remember and honor those that were killed fighting to keep our country free.
Veterans Day is to recognize our Veterans.
My uncle was killed in Normandy, in 1944.
My father served in the Army Air Corps (that was before it became the Air Force)
My oldest dau is a MSgt in the U. S. Air Force
My Son In Law is a retired USAF MSgt
My grandson is in Jr. ROTC (AF)
May God Bless every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman and Coast Guardsman.

Married 33 years Happily divorced 14 I'm a slow learner, but I learned. (I pay em to leave) My first expected me to pay so she went and bought a new car. The judge said nope, she pays for it.
It's no wonder they didn't want me there when I had to turn over her child.
No alimony either. 
Lucky you My/our/her judge said [from one female to another] "Mrs C, what do you want?" and she got it |

Hmmm! I may have to elaborate a little. Weight of a burger was discussed so I was going with that. I have been in one so I know you have White Castles down your way and from your self description so have you. For the younger crowd, White Castle burgers are rather small and for a "normal" individual six, yes 6, would be a normal serving. They are also old style so very greasy so you just pop them in your mouth and let them slide on down. Hence the nickname SLIDERS. How many can your scooter carry? My Gold Wing could haul 18 with a chick on board.  RV Yup, ya got me on the 'sliders' thing And, yes, we do got em here. Back in the day, we could get a bag (10) of em for $1.00 (but, I'll admit, I don't partake in em, gotta keep this 289lbs fit n trim for da ladies) My GW only carries (well, used to) hot chicks, and that aint chic-fil-a |

Here I was thinking he was looking for a cushier ride for his 'chick' magnet. Not to make it a better 'slider' hauler.  She can slide on, up or in, I don't care Hell, spent 30 minutes today just to get gas due to the people who wanted to talk about it. Only one hot chick tho, but her mother was in a hurry |
