At times I shudder when thinking too ;D Does it sound like metal on metal grinding/scrapping or clicking? I hope you have ridden the scoot before an 80 degree day which would eliminate old gas IMO. Strange noises are nothing to ignore in the CVT cover but, I would think flat spots are a gradual loss in performance. You may wanna replace the stock rollers with sliders anyway but, I assume the shutter is the main issue. I would think something is slipping also from the description. Belt, Clutch etc.. Hopefully no over heating problems!!!!

Funny you guys should mention HD riders. Not one has ever acknowledged my existence wile riding my china 50cc. On the other hand, just this morning 2 sport bike riders side by side with mohawk helmets waved at me first. Go figure I guess the more money you spend puts you in a higher class. Even if your obviously a weekend rider. I still think smaller bikes are more fun anyway!!!!

I just have to say that is a very interesting scoot. I don't think I've ever seen one like that on the road. If that has a typical GY6 engine there are many mods that can be done but, like Sprocket said the best thing to do is tune the CVT and add more displacement. By the way, Welcome To The Best Forum Ever!!!!!!

That is one very nice scoot. I would delete that fender altogether and move the blinkers up into the body. Or use a bracket to mount the License plate and blinkers just under the Tail light. Just my opinion but again I say That is a Badd A$$$ Scoot!!!!! What else do you plan on doing to it???

I was hoping to find a slip on cover that wouldn't cost a butt cheek and a leg. I could make my own for sure so, I will update once I come up with a game plan. Thanks for the Ideas!!! I might go for a King and Queen seat on my 50cc with a wicked sissy bar

Does anyone know of a decent source for a scoot seat cover? I don't wanna spend another 110+ degree summer in the hot seat. Genuine scooter Co. Had a cool skull and bones cover that I was gonna get that came with handle bar mitts for the winter. Now I can't seem to find it anymore. Anyway where can one pick up a cover that will fit a QMB or any scoot for that matter? Any good DIY suggestions besides a T-shirt

I just wish they would sell some of the European or Japanese designs that already exist in the US. Some of the 50cc/150cc bikes are very cool but not sold in the States. Why is that?

Well that about covers it The only thing I can think of is port matching and a paint job. Have fun, Keep us posted, and take lots of pics. I still wanna see 70mph on a 4T and am curious about these timing secrets.
