Good thing there are plenty of leftover China Scoots (Just joking) Those people have had a real bad time and it will trickle down on the world.

Well, Ya fix one thing and something else goes wrong. My kick stand failed running to the grocery store a couple days back. I thought is was leaning a little to far on the side stand so I checked things out. The bolt was loose and spring crept up out of the groove. Simple repair I thought. Well, I got home and out of habit kicked the stand and KABOOM I think a weld gave way. The stand works fine Up/Down but, With any weight it gives up and goes Left/right which broke a small piece from the running board when it fell over. I tried to find the stress point but no luck so, Does anyone have a pic of where the side stand is welded to the frame?? Think some JB Weld Will hold up?

Very Clever Indeed!!! Nice tip I may steal this idea but, replace with some sort of air scoop. Can I ask what you used to cut the hole with? Looks like a very clean cut. Anyone have tips on cutting out the cooling fan cover plastic grid??? Very Cool Idea!!!! Pun intended

That is a SWEEEET Scoot. GREAT WORK!!!!!! Black is the fastest color BTW so good choice. Your parts list could have paid my mortgage for 3 months. Money well spent IMO ;D I got lots of questions but, Enjoy the Manwich for now, I think you deserve a steak and lobster though. That has to be one of the best little 50cc scoots out there

That was funny!! Poor guy the helmet doesn't help much if ya land face first The comments are fun too. It is impressive he caught air from a dead stop. Why not just pull a U-turn from the starting point?? FNG

Well pulled things apart, went back to the stock airbox and ran a copper wire thru both jets. Result--- seems to start/run like a champ again. going for a test run in a few minutes. I think it was like you guys said a clogged pilot jet. I could not see light thru it till I wiggled a wire around inside. Blew it out and I'm runnin again. Thanks allot Guys you don't know how much it means to me for the advise

Last night i did a little tinkering and found my UNI Had torn around the band clamp on the carb. Put the stock air box back on but, Now it really hard to start and wont stay running at all unless I give it throttle. I'm thinking when the coupling tore. it sucked in some rubber so, I'm off to pull the carb and check things out. I'm gonna need to down jet anyway with the stock box. Wish me luck!!! I may need it to get to work tomorrow or ill have to ride the Bicycle

Joking aside, right now my scoot is unsafe to ride. Engine stalling every time you come to a stop is dangerous!!! It starts an runs fine just, I have to give it throttle to keep it from stalling. If I'm not on the throttle it dies wont even idle The worst part is we have perfect riding wheather right now. I'm going crazy here, All work and no play makes Scotty a dull boy.

Thanks for the tips guys. I won't have time till Fri, Saturday to take things apart. I plan on checking the valves (again), cleaning the carb jets and checking for air leaks. Anything else ya can think of while I got things apart?
