Luke, I've got you beat if your profile age is right. LOL. I'll be turning 30 in January. I'll give you a picture of the scoot..... but you won't get me on it. LOL, at least not until I'm back down to my fighting weight (I've got to lose about 40lbs). We just had our Church directory photos taken a few weeks ago... I swear that camera added 50 lbs, because the guy in those pictures is not the guy I see in the mirror every morning. My wife even agreed. ***** I've got an alternative idea to the calender. How about a desktop wallpaper featuring pics of a different member's (or members') scooter(s) each month. You think that's bad? My ex-husband saw a picture of me and begged me to stay away from cameras! No kidding. I have to agree with him, and with you. Some of us look huge in pictures no matter how big we really are. I do look better than that in real life (although I really am overweight).

Denise - are you putting in a bid to be Miss February? I'll be 50 in February, so why not?

Well I have to admit that clipping toenails in class is not the best way to earn an A-- unless you're attending class online, in which case it doesn't matter!

OMG LMAO hey maybe you could ask Denise to pose for pic's for the calender??? As NOT photogenic as I am? You're brave. Actually, if you all want a picture of me I'm happy to provide it. I'm starting to get less camera shy. I figure if anyone can't figure out that I look pretty decent for 50 (in February), then they can just look at someone else.

Problem is after I got my locksmith certification nobody wanted to hire me due to lack of experience. So to get experience decided to start my own business. Its a big investment though. Need to buy a vehicle and any tools I may need for a variety of different jobs. Its unprofessional to show up on a job and not have the right tools. Roy Yes, it can be rough, especially since you have to start your own business, but you'll do it! Just remember to put most of the money back into the business for a few years. You need to have it well established before you can count on an income from it. I know that sounds hard, but it will be worth it eventually.

Wow, that's hard. I'll be praying for you. It's really hard to lose a job you've invested so many years in.
Hey Roy, congratulations! Enjoy!

The one "extra" I like in a car is the one-touch locking mechanism. I hate it when they automatically lock themselves, I can easily live without power windows, but power door locks make perfect sense. I can lock all the doors at once with the touch of a button-- and that is vastly superior to any other extra device I've ever seen.

It really is ridiculous. Electronic transfers were supposed to be faster than sending checks back and forth. We know the capability exists-- they can certainly transfer money from our accounts fast enough-- but there are always mysterious reasons why they "can't" do the same in reverse. I strongly suspect that it has a lot to do with the banks deciding that they just don't want to give the money up to its rightful owner for awhile-- which would mean the receiving bank, by the way. They make money by holding it for a week or so while we wait.

By the way, that is an image search. It is also quite possible that the images you are seeing are being picked up from the originals you have already seen. To find out, click on the image and then on the link below the image on the enlargement. This should take you to the site the image is actually on. That is how I followed the avatar image I found to the site where it is from. When they let me contact the "owner" of the image, I'll ask if I can use it.

I found a cute avatar. I'm going to check to see if it has a copyright on it.

Very pretty. I might pick me out an avatar soon.
I would suppose that someone who doesn't want to or can't take a picture of themselves and/or their scooter might use something like this, but to not disclose it is a little dishonest, I think. I wouldn't ever actually accuse someone of lying about having a scooter, but it is possible. Maybe some people would lie to gain access to the social aspects of the scooter community. I think it more likely that people are just taking advantage of the stock pictures instead of taking their own, though. I wouldn't find it too offensive, but they should admit it if they are doing it.
