Try finding another washer, Are you SURE you are missing one? Could be one out of the track, or some trash clinking around in there...

Hey guys!
I know its been a while since I have posted on here, I hope Alley is still hangin around!
I just got this scooter in the shop, I have tried to kick it over with no luck, Pulled the cover off the battery and it reads 12-volts, so I still don't know what's wrong with the electric start either.
I just read that the SEAT LATCH is NOT electronic, is this Correct? Is it Mechanical? I haven't been able to get it open, to peel off the rest of plastic. After I get the seat OPEN, I plan to check Fuel Delivery, Spark, R/R, Etc.
BUT I have to get the seat off FIRST! Thanks alot in advance guys, I've had a BUNCH of new business and will post pics of the new shop and scoots SOON!!!

That's what I kinda figured JCT842, No reason why it would hurt, I would just "like" to keep the bike as "neat" as possible, BUT if all else fails, I will wire it to the ignition switch *shrugs*

Got my headlights working BTW! Somebody that owned it before me, had all kinds of screwed up wiring! I studied the schematic, and found the issues, Really happy about that, so I can keep the stock HI/LOW switch! UNFORTUNATELY, I cracked the lens, testing. I dropped it.... But the wiring works! So I'm still happy! This way, I can either get a new lens, or Street fighter Assembly, and the wiring will be ready to go!
NOW, I have noticed the Radiator Fan, is NOT coming on... even after the bike warms up, if its not moving, it will start to get hot, thats when the FAN, SHOULD, kick on, But since it's not, I am thinking either Temp Sensor(Unlikely cause the gauge works...) OR could be another hack job on the wiring....

I hear ya Novaraptor! This bike I think has Plenty of power for what I want. I do love it, and I can't believe how well it runs for 800 bucks! Got my headlights working BTW! Hey guys, I just picked up a 1994 GSXR 750w and the headlights won't come on/flicker/ANYTHING!
Checked everything obvious, Fuse is good, but found two burnt connectors, re-wired the WHT headlight wire at all burnt connections, and still nothing! I am only getting .03 volts, AT the fuse block for the headlight... The wire coming INTO the fuse block that leads to the headlights ALL .03 volts..... I am thinking I might have a burnt wire, touching the frame... I might just Run a new wire, from the fuse block, to the HI/LOW switch....ANY ideas??? Thanks Guys!!!

Hey guys, haven't posted in a week or two, just wanted to update everybody! I bought a new bike! It's a 1994 GSXR-750w, with 20K Miles. Looks GREAT for a 94! Not a spot of rust, nor frame damage. STRONG engine, NEEDS A PAINT JOB! Some of the plastics are also missing... BUT I got a GREAT DEAL at only 800 bucks!!! I will keep you guys posted on this project, and post pics/videos of the tear-down and re-assemble. Here is a couple of Pics of the way it sits, this thing GLIDES through the air!!! VERY HAPPY! Thanks Guitarman, I have heard grinding valves, and it doesn't sound like that to me, But I will be checking the valve gap again, I forgot to put thread-locker on the nut :/
I will say also, when I changed the oil, it was EXTREMELY BLACK! For it only having 300 miles, I really think that who ever bought this thing off the internet, DIDN'T change the oil when it arrived...
ALL and ALL though I am pretty happy with the results, it performs the best if you SLOWLY go up in throttle all the way to the top, and IF you do, it will get up to 40-41MPH, If you WOT immediately, it takes forever to get to the top of the power-band. Think it might be a valve issue, since I forgot the locker, we'll see tomorrow. ALLEY-I have skimmed over the carb and it LOOKS like the butterfly IS CLOSED with the idle screw out... WILL POST PICS SOON

I'm gonna offer him 80, and settle on 100 prolly, I figure its worth the hour drive and that... if nothing else... Tires, Rims, Frame's prolly decent IF the engine isn't seized...its do-able. A complete gasket kit, and about 2 days, Ill have this baby puuuuurrrr'in
