I buy Shell Rotella T by the gallon at walmart. I used to live near a fleet farm store, basically a department store-sized TSC/sporting goods/home depot type of place. Pssssssst. Factory KTM USA Motorex Oil Sponsor, Big o Texas Size decals on dem forks. $$$ expensive real-estate Poured out the Motorex bottles and refilled with Rotella T, The Sheep see using the product in the pits but whats in the bottle don't match the label. We all have some great Oil stories to tell. Thanks Jim Ricci John Klotz Zoomie. Zoomie Alky oil for Summer Cologne and Klotz for the Winter.

i have to be honest with you dm,,,,i dont think there is a break in period with these new scoots with the ceramic cylinders,,,i may be wrong but i think the scoots you just got are made in taiwan by kymco,,,,Clonedrone was saying the diamond hone they do on these cylinders is so fine it can be run hard right out of the box,,,he was saying it's called plateau honing,,,i'm sure he'll chime in here,,,my et4 vespa was like that,,,basically no break in ,,,and synthetic oil recommended right from the gitgo Well on track there Cyborg Very fine finishes and Plateau are being applied to theses cylinders using Stainless top ring. Then were into the Composite cylinders with similar fine finishes. A Slow break in is the last thing I would recommend for theses types of top ends. Story Back in the not so long ago 125 MX'rs was common to suck crank seals, Seizco is born. Im at a Pro show, stuck the top end in practice, get New Composite cylinder from support trig, and piston assy. Get it done, warm it up, take it to the 40 man gate and race it. No break in and it they won't seize. Did this Many times. (I'm running a single ring forging in my KX250 with .00018 Piston to Wall) Don't need no stinkin breakin. Most of the RePlate co. here are using Plateau hone for final finish. If misunderstood is like it sounds, The Peak of the Mountian has been knocked off leaving a Plateau, the peak is what we used to have the rings ext seat into almost Burnish.

I can see coughing up the cost for a set of gaskets for a 5,000+ racing motor but not on a 300.00 dollar motor..LOL Big overkill if you ask me and won't buy you anything over a good set of chino gaskets. Alleyoop I had them make me custom head and three different thickness of base gasket for under $12. bucks. Stuck them in the mail for cheap shipping for me. Just a different option. figured as much

Try my fine friends at Cometic gasket. 800/752-9850 Ohio based company. Very high end, choices of materials and thickness. Nice for setting up the top end at Zero Deck. Wip up customs in a day or two.

i don't even think thoses kinds of ports help even with a lite blower,,,i think what you did was just enough to make a big difference and still maintain decent intake tract velocities and proper cylinder fill,,,,probably to the point of inertia charge,,,,an added bonus,,,,,(and i will try to get those pics you sent me to Rich tonite) Yes Sir, I'm all about the Velocity!

And the cleanup of the head Clone did was a work of art,,, nice blending of the guide bosses and you could tell just by lookin at it it will flow 2x better than the stocker,,, nice catch of the big valves in stock seats,,,, fuking idiots,,,I'll get those pics to Rich,,, gotta post them,,, a stellar job Clone Actually a work of Ed. Ahh shucks Borg, Thanks! Taking a quick lookie at some volumes I didn't see any advantage to hogging out the Ports. The most important thing to any cylinder head flow is the Valve job, so most time was spent on it. If you could call it a valve job it had a Flow Bench Valve job, They just aren't very happy engines with that. I removed as little as possible material to the ports and bowls. Hoggin dem out would be like flushing a toilet into a straw.

And to touch on the Big Valve Two Valve head. I received mine, Checking the Valve job the Head had oversize Valves in stock Dia. Seats. This would have flowed like crap if I did not check this. Willing to bet the Fake Big Valve Head would have made it Slower. If it comes in a Box with a Label part # on it it's JUNK!
I sent Borg some Pics of the Finished product.

It would be nice to come up with a quality piston too! 150cc's and just 2 hp per cube would be dyno-mite. Might need a wheelie bar! I've done some research on a Higher end Piston. There have been some customs built for a customer several years ago. A run of qty. 25 will still be pretty expensive.Dunno if there really is a market for a High end Piston at the price it would take. The 61mm piston I have for my yet to install BB, stroker package is pretty darn nice, this is coming from more than 20 years in the high end Piston business. I going to touch it up some and have a Skirt and Dome Coating applied.

k back on topic here. As I have stated b-4. Back in the day it was all about two wheels, didn't matter what it was everyone had the wave. No especially if in a no helmut state if your not wearing the correct uniform i.e. Black t shirt from somewhere they have never been and no helmut they won't wave. f dem, just too cool for me. I'm the oddity wearing a prototype Leatt neck brace,
