OMG Kevin. You've gone JR on us!
Tonya - how bad is the damage? Cracks are one thing, scratches are another.

They're working on taking themselves out of the gene pool. Dannicus - were you Navy or Marines? I saw that they now require a special safety school if you're going to ride a crotch rocket even off base - too many accidents.

Tonya - sorry to hear that. I hope you're ok. Cruiser's parts link looks pretty good.

Scooterran - No, I teach at the community college back here. When I worked in H-burg, I was a program exec with PA DPW. Here's the latest fatal from down there www.wgal.com/news/25352413/detail.html

I worked in Harrisburg until I retired in January 09. I used to see a kid on a crotch rocket weaving through traffic on I-81 at speeds that had to have been at over 85 mph. I saw this today. I wonder if it's the same kid and if it is, why he's still alive. www.wgal.com/news/25334194/detail.html

Speed - I think it's still fun and intend to keep riding as long as I can. There's a gut in a small town near here that's 83 and still riding his scoot.
Cruiser - well we started riding with training wheels didn't we? I guess we can fiannly finish that way. I got my first scoot 3 years ago.

Hey - he's a college kid and at least he talks. Not like about 3/4 of my students.

Well, the ribs are better and after 3 days of cold rain, the weather finally broke. I went out for a short ride to the store. It was awfully windy but sure felt good to be back on 2 wheels.
M/C - we have a couple helmets here.

Where JR lives, they don't have traffic lights. They only have a couple paved roads. LOL JR! I know some people who tried those magnet things on cruisers or touring bikes and were disappointed in the results. Somebody over on SD suggested putting your sidestand down on the magnetic strip. I just try to line the scoot up over the strip. Around here, they're converting to cameras or timers on most of the lights.

Yep. The kids rolled my neighbor's in his back yard one day while Mom and Dad were at work.

With my old Matrix 150 XX, I had to have the center stand down to kick start because the kick would hit it. I'm glad to hear you're out and riding it. Enjoy!
