So when are you adding a new garage to hold all your rides? Have fun!

Some of the guys over on Scootdawg ordered UM parts from Alpha. Prices were high and often changed. West 60 Cycles WAS carrying parts for UM's last month but I see they're no longer listed on the website. Same problem there - prices were frequently a lot higher. Check out the "My United Motors Xpeed 250 experience" thread in the 250 section.

Yep - Sta-bil in the tank. I just got from buying some although I hope to have a few more weeks to ride. If it's going to be outside, remove the battery and bring it indoors.
How did you make out with your plastic?

Wow Chris - I would excuse you from class to work on your scoot. Good luck and have lots of fun putting all the plastic back together!

Good old Montgomery County. It's not safe to be in a cage down there let alone on 2 wheels.

Welcome Chris. I know nothing about the 54B but it sounds like you have a wire rubbing bare against something - maybe up front around the fork? Anyhow you've got Cruiser on it, he should get you all fixed up.

Robert - why don't you sign up and activate an account. That way you get access to the tech section. I don't ride a Jonway but a lot of folks do and would be glad to comment. Which model are you considering - the YY250T?

Sounds like a great ride Smork. Nice picture of the bridge. I'd love to fish that water.

Here, they're volunteers and it seems always looking for new ones. I had 2 fairly young guys, this year they were older guys. This kid was "demonstrating" with his own bike in the parking lot before the class started.

Good point there MC. One of the instructors in my MSF class just had to do a couple front wheelies on his rocket to impress people.

Sounds kind of like all the safe riding stuff they taught us in the MSF course. Most folks around here seem to ignore it. At least most of the rocket riders around here at least wear helmets. The hog riders - no way.
Dannicus - from an OLD vet - thanks for serving!

Al - I hadn't read this before but that is absolutely great work and a wonderful gesture.
Jack - Enjoy that coffee and the greater freedom!
Cyber - get rid of the delusions and come over to the BLUE side!
