Didn't do anything exciting. Took it for a ride when I ran errands. Gave it a nice big drink of 92 octane.
Hitting a turkey would be definitely bad.
Rich - you're lucky. Sue rides with you!

Unfortunately, we had an example near here Saturday night. A cage was pulling out of a local eating place and got T-boned by 3 separate bikers. 1 dead, the other 2 injured.

How about rescued it from drowning? Boy did we get hit with a storm about 1/2 hour ago. Dime size hail, heavy rains, flash floods. I checked & Exie's garage had some water coming in but I got the drains open. No real damage. Our little stream flooded the playground and ball field at the bottom of the street.

OK some good news and some bad. I've been holed up all weekend working on school work. Of course it's raining so I can't ride anyhow. Rode to class twice yesterday. 2 weeks to go and then I can get serious about the scoot.
Luke - you need that blessing!

Rode it to class twice on Wednesday, probably will today. Maybe even buy it a drink of scoot juice.

Great job. I'm glad they work. Doesn't your trunk have a lock?

Interesting project. Toilet paper and toothpaste sound like just cause for a ride.
Be safe!

You've got a couple inches on me (5' 11") and you're right, it does feel a little cramped. I'm thinking of added foot pegs to help with the legs. I usually don't feel it much until I've got about miles in. I didn't feel it much with the old Matrix 150 but the seat was higher.

Welcome to the forum. Stand by a little bit. We've got some folks who know a lot about this. You should hear from someone shortly.

Looks good Ginny. I see what you mean about how close they are to the exhaust. I had the opposite problem with my "pony express" bags. I had to add 11" of heavy vinyl to get fit under the seat. You're sewing is much better than mine. How are they in the wind? Mine tend to flap sou I used D rings (standard equip on them) and bungees to hold them tight to the fairings.
+1 for improvising!
