Cool Kiwi. You have you cam mounted somewhere on the scoot body?

Generally speaking it does. Occasionally, it will cut out at a stop or going down hill. I need to play with that. The EFI helps I'm sure. It's actually an impressive setup - 24.7 hp, quad valve, DOHC plus the EFI.

Rich - are you talking about the apparent smoothness of the video?
My wife has one like yours but we also have 2 Jazz DV151's. That's what I use. I have a belt holster for my GRS hand held radio. I turn the thing on, put it in the holster then clip it to the neck of my jacket. Gives a more solid mount than on the helmet. Downside is that I'm shooting thru the curvature of the windscreen so there's distortion. Working on that.
After I download to the pc, I use MovieMaker to edit out the parts I don't want.
My son has a cheap helmet cam and says they're really not very good - this thing and yours will do better.

Congrats Rich - looks pretty good. Good resolution on the camcorder. You may be down south but you've still got the Ohia accent!

A buddy of mine tried them on his Honda Sabre. Didn't work.
Interesting, my side stand kill switch lets it idle but kills when the throttle is rolled.
Maybe we should glue big magnets to the soles of our boots.
I try as much as possible to avoid lights but that doesn't always work.

That looks great! When you said you got it from a student, I thought it might be a little rough. It looks like a lot of the parts are the same as on my old UM Matrix 150.

OK - some of you may have seen this over on SD. I'm recycling my first vid of the year. March 21 was the anniversary of my move from a 150cc to the Xpeed 250i. It was a great day so I went for an anniversary ride. I had to split the video for photobucket. "Part 1" is side streets, back roads, rough roads and crater dodging. "Part 2" is a 60 mph run up the 4 lane including (OMG!) passing a cager with a scoot. Sorry about the quality, shooting through plastic doesn't give the best pix. I ran out of memory before I got home.

I haven't heard anything recently but this doesn't sound good for PA.

I can't believe how tall that thing is. You should be totally shielded with it on.
