Hey - great idea guys - John Deere trikes with a mower attachment!
Note there is hope for us old guys. I was up at Wally World a little bit ago and met a 77 year old who was tooling around on his little SunL 150.

I managed to hit the window between thunder storms and got my annual safety inspection done.

Well, I've always said none of us are totally right. Great pix!

Thanks Jon. Those are some big, strong fish. I never imagined they'd fight like that. They have that long body like a pike or a muskie and I imagine the runs they make are something else.

Jon - I have a question. Since sturgeon don't exist here, what do you catch them on? A long time ago, I read an article where they used gobs of seaweed for sturgeon.

Well, I see I got things going there. JR should have something to talk post about for months. Nice homemade barometer there old friend!
Jon - nice looking family, nice fish. You need to get us some muskie, northern and walleye pix from the land of the lakes.
mthomas - some of the biggest bass I've caught have come from farm ponds so go get 'em!

Darn Luke, you have some big ones out there. That guy is surely lucky. We have some largemouth bass in the lakes near here that'll break 7 lbs but the biggest I've caught is about 5. Same with smallmouth. One evening 2 years ago I got a 5lb and a pair of 4's but that's the best I've ever done. 15"/2 1/2 - 3 lb are nice ones around here.
I see a bow. So you bow fish?

You have the top water bit right Luke! I think that's the most fun when they hit it on the surface then maybe jump a couple times coming in.
Tilapia - we don't have them up here. How are they when it comes to fight? I've eaten them but never caught one.
NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE Boat!

This is only marginally related to scooters but you can scoot and fish together.
Sunday night my good friend Dr. JR called and eventually the conversation turned to fishing. He told me all about his fishing trip for "brim" - that's bream for us Yankees, otherwise known to us as "bluegills". He told me all about the species of sunfish in Arkieland and what he uses for bait.
I've been out once this year and caught a couple nice Spring smallmouths. Note, I use artificials and mainly a variety of Rapalas. Original gold is my favorite, 2 1/2 to about 4 inches.
So, what do you folks fish for and what's your favorite bait?

Sounds like a good idea there Cookees. Our local B&M guys charge $65 an hour. For the pain and frustration, $129 is a deal.

Thanks for the research. I haven't seen "pure" around here in quite awhile.

I rode to my 12PM class. I think I'm cursed. Every time I get on 2 wheels, the winds get nasty. I got batted around rather badly so I took the cage to my 3:45 class.
