The yellow button on my new (2013) yy250t-2 is the starter switch if this helps but you got to turn on the key to the right (press) hold on one of the brakes handles then push the yellow button for it to start

Thanks Again for all your help found out where all the fluids go and changed them to good quality due to what I had been reading that they might just be shipping fluids now if I just could keep it running seems like when the engine warms up (a little bit past the halfway mark on temp gauge) it dies sometimes it will start back up and maybe run a couple minutes before it dies again. Gatekeeper says that the valves may need adjusted for it to keep running I was thinking that MegaMotorMadness had already done that I changed out the fuel filter cause the one that was on it look like it had some little black plastic pieces in it but when I drained out what bit of gas (About 1 Gallon) it still flowed through the original filter just fine so I think the carburetor is just fine
Sure would like to get it running right before I have to store it for the winter come spring time the warranty will be out on it still stuck with a non running scooter that I have no way getting it to a repair shop if there is one around that works on them P.S.MegaMotorMadness I spoke to a tech name Joe who couldn’t tell me where the fluids went I found out on my own what the fluid was where the mp3 player plug and cup holder was being the scooter was an automatic I didn’t know if that was transmission fluid or what until I was filling the radiator threw the pressure cap still don’t know if the transmission has its own fluid or if it uses the engine oil if not where do you check it? Thanks

Gateskeeper From the picture I’ve seen my engine is the Honda Helix is those adjustments hard to get to? I notice in the video you turned one to the left and the other to the right until the valves quit clattering and is there a way to test the engine before I put it all back to together I sure want to get this dang thing running like it should
kz1000st I added 1½ oz STA-BTL fuel stabilizer when I put in the 92 octane unleaded fuel & filter I don’t know for sure if it would work the same as the STP gas treatment also the engine seems to run nice untill it gets warm (just a little always past the ½way mark on the temp gauge) when the shutting down begins. Its beginning sound like what Gatekeeper said if I’m not mistaking I believe loss of compression is like running out of fuel to and after it set awhile it will start running again
“”””Thank you all for such great help you have been”””

:'(Well folks through my scooter was running like a dream which in some ways it is but it will keep dying on me can go awhile then its just dies like it ran out of gas I changed the original fuel filter (will see if I can post jpegs for all questions) tried to find out what could be causing it by looking at the CFMOTO 172mm Engine Service Manual but pictures are to black if this is the vacuum type carburetor what could be causing the shut down by the way sometimes after it shut down it will start right up and run maybe 3 min or longer before it dies again please keep in mind I just got this scooter new one week today so far got almost 10 miles on it don’t really want to take a chance running it down the highway for fear of dieing on me and no way to get it back home with me being disable with heart failure also how in the world does the remote control work also added that fuel mixture you see to almost forgot how much voltage should my volt meter read with engine running and all lights on Thanks again for the great help you all have given s895.photobucket.com/user/Robertban235/library/Scooter%20Pictures

Thank every one for the great help you have been giving and would the newer engine be the same as the older ones?

Hello everyone I have some questions that may sound pretty stupid (but this is my first scooter) I just got it today it is called the Roketa Autumn 250cc stock # SKU:SCO057 purchased from Megamotormadness.com if you would like to see it. On the back of the scooter it has the letters (YY250T-2) I’m needing to know where all of the fluids go how to tell if it full or not (its bad deal that the tech couldn’t help me when I called them) under the seat is the fuel tank and what seams to be a radiator cap when I removed it there is no liquid to see also when you open the center piece in front of the seat (where you can plug in an mp3 player) there is another container that is also empty when I remove the cap and because this is an automatic does it take transmission fluid? If so where does it go and how to check it. It’s a bad deal that I have no kind of paper work that tells anything about this if some could help me on this or maybe know where I could download a pdf file for the scooter it would be a great help also could you email to at bbradio@suddenlink.net like to see if everything works ok and try to get a little ride time in before it gets to cold here in Missouri
