I have a 06 Eagle 150 that I am doing an 11 pole stator upgrade on and my question is do I keep the one wire resistor for the 11 pole stator and 7 wire rectifier? If so then what is its function in this system and where does it need to connect? The last time I had to deal with a ballest resistor was in an old points and condenser ignition system. Tvnacman is sending me the stator and rectifier so I'll def ask him. Thanks for any help!

Hey guys I have a 06 150 eagle that I'm doing an 11 pole stator conversion on. I've run all the wiring for to run 3 phase. The diagram in the tech section is pretty straight forward on the rectifier wiring. Great job! My question is this.... My scoot has a one wire resistor ( see pic ) and I need to know if the 7 wire rectifier has a built in resistor or do I need this one? What is its function? If I need it where would it tie in to the new system? Tvnacman is sending me the stator and rectifier so I will ask him too. Thanks for any help. This forum is great! Attachments:

Thanks man for all your help. I know it sounds like another sob story but I'm stuck in Knoxville tn and I'm trying to get home to Aiken sc for Christmas. I am hoping that this install will be as painless as possible. If you can get me together a total price on the relay, 7 wire regulator, 11 pole stator, and if you can get it to me in 2 or 3 days. If you can't I understand with it being so close to Christmas. You can send me a new invoice to my email. Again thank you so much for helping another 2 wheeler out.

Sorry to keep on you about this John but do you have maybe a part number or specs for that relay? The reason I'm asking is because I am trying to find one that will work locally. Also if I pay for two day shipping could you do that when I order? Thank you John!

Hey John I found a 40A relay and I have one question. The relay needs switched power to close the circuit and activate the lights. Where did you tie yours in for this switched power? I'm iffy about tying it on the same circuit as the power out of the ignition switch because it seems like it would tell the voltage sensor wire from the rectifier to charge all the time. What do you think? Thanks for your help!

Thanks John! I will be calling you on Tuesday to confirm the order. You have been a big help to me. I have run the new wires for the stator, 3 yellow and 1 green to where I will mount the rectifier. The wiring diag. on this forum is pretty straight foward. Damn fine diag. If I have any issues I'll definatly give you a call.

Hi I'm new to the forum and fairly new to the gy6 engine. I'm wanting to do the 11 pole stator conversion since I can't find the elusive center tap 8 pole stator to replace my original. My question is this... Will the 8 pole flywheel work with the 11pole stators? The id of said flywheel is 3.555in or 90.297mm. Thanks for any help guys!

Hi I'm new to the forum and might not be in the right place for this question. I'm kinda new to the gy6 engine and I'm looking to convert to the 11 pole stator set up since I can't find the elusive center tap stator to replace the original. My question is this.... Will my 8 pole flywheel fit an 11 pole stator? The id of the flywheel is 3.555 in. Or 90.297 mm. Thanks for any help.
