did you chamfer the holes on the inside? Sharp edges might leave grooves in shoes and tend to make clutch grabby.

sorry 'bout the slow response. Things got kinda hectic this week and haven't had a chance to look at the scoot. I did do the pdi checked every thing replaced all hoses locktighted all nuts and bolts ect. I did have a vacuum leak in vapor canister got that resolved. adjusted carb. and plug looks good. nice caramel brown color. could use some advice on weights though. what would be a good starting point. Will do an update when time permits.

A salute and thank you to all who have served and are serving. A moment to remember the fallen and missing.

Don't have the tach installed yet but didn't sound like it was rapping out. Weather is getting colder so going to check variator, clutch, belt and install digital dyno. Some of those hills are pretty steep. And no didn't start from a dead stop. When I ride my renegade 50 on the same route only loose about 5 mph. Now I know the trike weighs quite a bit more. I expected speed to drop a little more. I'll get it figured out. I got this to tinker with anyway. ;D

Decided to to a speed test today. On level road got to just over 45 on chinometer, don't have digital installed yet. Now let me tell ya this thing don't like hills. Speed drops to between 15 and 20.

Ya its great and I love it. ;D Steering took some getting used to. Still find myself trying to lean. Not having to put my feet down and hold it up is great.

Ya gotta get the leaf blower out. weathers been good this week and I'd rather be scootin than cleaning up leaves. If I strap leaf vac to scooter could have best of both worlds. ;D
