Did you use a torque wrench ?
You should not have started it with no exhaust .

Slow down , check the voltage on the red wine on the regulator . There maybe a blocking diode between the red from the regulator and the battery . If it is opened it will not charge. Is your cooling fan running ?

If you only want it to last under 1000 miles don't hone it or gap the rings . You need some soft material to help sest the rings . If the surface is too hard you will not have a softened area for break in .

does it have the same problem when you try to ride the scooter , maybe switch out the brother , see if the problem goes away . Have you tried a petite girl ?

check for fuel in the vac line or damp wet vac ines .
