Wow, I'd be worried about being too low to the ground in traffic. I would think a truck driver sitting way up in the cab could accidently run you over and never realize it. I believe I'd have to have one of those orange flags on it to be more visible.

Your allowed to ride that on the streets in Texas? I would think you'd have to ride that on the sidewalk like a goped.

But the question remains how did the starter fill up with oil. I've never heard of that, but for $30 bucks who cares you can't go wrong.

I just checked out the prices on Scrappydog.com, he is incredibly cheap! Only $39.95 that's a sweet deal! I can't believe how cheap they are being that 6 to 8 months ago you couldn't buy those in the US for a QMB139. Enviromoto was the first I'm aware of but now Scrappydog must have one sweet vendor on those to be able to sell it for that.

You know what BMW stands for don't ya? BIG MONEY WASTED!!! At least that's what most of our mechanics used too say about them (speaking of the car, not the bike). I think I'm going to agree on the closer too $15,000 price tag. I don't get rear cameras and monitors instead of mirrors. Total freakin' waste of money, mirrors are about $30 (maybe not on a BMW) god only knows what that set-up will set you back. I don't understand people's desire too over complicate things like that. Mirrors are simple and adjustable and last forever. Do you have to re-set the cameras if a different rider gets on your Scoot and then re-set everything back? I like the styling, I don't think it's ugly but they've over complicated a simple form of transportation. Huge waste of money IMHO!

Who hasn't laughed at this one? That is a timeless classic! Like the 3 Stooges, but more cerebral. EDIT: JR that old Honeymooners stuff is sure not very PC by todays standards. They would never let it on the air,but it sure is funny. ;D

Wait a minute Luke! I didn't get a chance to agree with Eric on my distaste for Beck. Eric, do you want the pliers or the taser? Do you fans out there know he started out as a shock jock? He even admits to being a carney act. Too bad biting the chicken's head doesn't shut him up! Rich I'll take the pliers!! ;D Oh and this....

I watch a lot of TV probably 8 hours a day. I'm old school and cannot get into watching TV on the PC, screen is just to small and the picture is just passable. I have a 42" plasma and going down to a 24" PC screen just doesn't do it for me. Anyway.....
Top 10... Fringe Bones Caprica Stargate Universe WWE Raw (yes I am a huge wrestling fan) Daily Show Squidbillies Family Guy American Chopper Swamp People
Worst 10.... Any reality show (If I want reality I'll watch a documentary) Glee (I hate musicals) anything on Lifetime ;D Jerry Springer GLENN BECK!! American Idol So You Think You Can Dance Survivor Law & Order Cops
Thank god for the DVR!!! I CANNOT EVER LIVE WITHOUT ONE AGAIN! Especially when you work nights like I do and watch all your TV after midnight.

True, but the question remains. Why has run so well up until now? Doesn't make any sense to me.

I love my Iridium plug too! It does make for slightly quicker starts and I feel a SLIGHT difference (more like hear) at high speeds.

starter

I see you installed a starter and a solenoid, but not a starter clutch (drive). I recently did the same thing and ended replacing the clutch to fix the problem. I had the same issue you have, when you hit the switch the solenoid would click one time and that was it. Check the drive too see if the gears are chewed up, also check the gear on the Variator as well.

I've only ever used Castrol Syntec 10w30 in mine since after the initial break-in. I now have 10,150 miles on my 50cc and have never had the motor apart. I definitely believe in full synthetic only after the break in.

No no extra support in the back. The brackets were made with 1/4 steel and should hold it tight, but I'm gonna keep a close check on it. I did notice that the rear reflector was hitting the muffler with my weight on it, and bending the tag bracket. I removed that reflector for the time being until I can come up with something better.

Man, the appearance factor alone was well worth it, nice clean look. A little better sound makes it that much sweeter. What's your thoughts on having to put on a performance exhaust to get your worth out of jets and a uni? I've read some opinions that until you open up the back end there's no sense trying to put more juice down it. Rich I have not noticed that much difference from my stock muffler with 2 holes drilled in it. I already had the #90 main jet in it. Although I do seem to have a little more mid-range power than before. I wanted to do a plug check today, but got busy tuning up the cage and ran out of time. I'm gonna pull the plug tomorrow before work too see how it looks.
