Just get a P.O Box in Pasco and have some of your mail, like your Scooter registration mailed there. That way you have a Pasco address for your Scooter.

Yeah luckily thats not going too happen statewide. It could be the county you live in though. I know several years back they had started emissions testing in Hillsborough County, but not in Polk County where I live. But again they can't make you retrofit an older model to meet new standards.

I just researched that and it went to the Florida legislature in 2008 but was not approved. If it had it wouldn't have started to take affect until 2016 anyway, and then only with new vehicles sold after 2016. Don't worry about it, we appear to be safe. I don't see it happening for a very long time because unemployment is so high now, there's no way they do anything to raise gas prices in this economy. I'm sure the tree-huggers will try to bring it up again in the future but it's not needed or wanted here.

I haven't heard about that yet, and with the new governor looking to cut billions from the budget, I doubt it will ever be implemented now. It would just cost way too much because there is no way they have the money to start emissions testing. Besides that it won't matter if you already have the Scooter now, you would be grandfathered in because it's an older model. I have a 1986 Pontiac there's no way in hell anybody could EVER make emissions compliant to todays standards.

Wow, how long do you have to leave a bike sitting like that leaned against a tree for that to happen?

Yeah I love Hooter's (burgers) too!! Definitely a bit of Americana, you should try some other places too. Like White Castle or Krystals (depending how far south you are), Steak and Shake too.

Damn I don't how you guys do it. I would be holed up inside until spring like a bear hibernating through the winter.

I'll bet, no matter how bad it gets here it will never be anything like Michigan. Especially if your from the upper peninsula.

in FL,, temp is not the issue,,it's the humidity that's gonna kill you...(huh, it rhymes, lol). i've been to Keywest Fl, and o lordy,,even my gums are sweating... feels muggy all the time...but orlando Fl is nice. Oh thats right Luke I forgot you were from Arizona. So yeah I guess Florida would seem really humid too you, being your used to that dry climate. You must have been in Orlando at the right time of the year, because it's way more humid inland than near the ocean. Try hitting Orlando in late July or August when it's 98 with 75% humidity. Man if it rains early in the afternoon and the sun comes back out THEN the humidity really starts!!

Yeah but 52 in Florida is pretty cold too most people. You got to remember Florida's only about 150 to 200 miles wide, so no matter where you are you have a sea breeze. I've had friends from up north who used to tell me that is was colder here at 48-50 than is was at 40-45 back where they were from. I only ever experience 16 once when in 1977 I was a kid and we had a major cold snap. I don't ever want to experience that again. I guess that's why I'm a Florida native and have never even seen snow (nor do I ever want too) unless it's just a sprinkling like we got last year.

Yeah we love it here in Florida. But today it only hit 52 which is too cold for this Florida native. I drove the car and the Scooter is inside with me keeping warm.

What should I expect from a tender I measured the voltage from the battery after it ran about 5 min with the engine shut off 12.5 and with the tender plugged in and connected 12.8. Yeah and I see yours was only reading 12.8 volts with it PLUGGED IN to the charger. Definitely sounds like your battery has about had it. Oh well winter is always hard on batteries and if it's already a little weak, a little cold snap will put it over the edge.

No I don't think that's so good. After the battery's been on the charger for any length of time you should register over 13 volts. Mine was reading around 12.66 last year and I was having problems starting as well. It ended up my battery was just a little weak. I think your battery is on it's last leg and you should be looking for a replacement.

Sounds like the Enricher is not working properly or at all.
