Hey everyone,
We've got a special coupon code active for all Scooter Doc forum members through the end of 2012.
Enter coupon code "ScooterDoc2012" (without the quotes) during the checkout process to save $25 off any order totaling $150 or more. You will need to have at least $150 worth of items in your shopping cart for the coupon to work, and it cannot be used towards shipping costs.
This is a great time to save even more money on our package deals, clutches, or get that big-bore kit you've been thinking of for a winter project!
I hope everyone has a happy, safe, and fun Thanksgiving and Christmas season with their friends and family, and thank you very much for supporting us these past 5 years!

What jhbietz said.
If you're missing one of the guide pins, that can easily cause a leak. I've got those guide pins in stock if you need one. Send me a PM or call me (phone number's on the website in my signature) and I can get one out to you.

Speedracer - glad they're working out well for you!
I'm guessing that the louder noise is probably the increased RPMs you're hearing from the lighter slider weights.

Well, it's kind of a bad thing since the slider weights he originally purchased have been determined to be the wrong size, and the correct variator is the same one used in the CN250. In other words, the cost to upgrade would be essentially double what it would be if it were a standard GY6 variator. We're working together to get the GY6 Dr Pulley variator returned and go from there.

The aluminum intake manifold is has a different angle to it than the stock black intake, and sometimes there is a crossbar or engine mount in the way when the carb is at a different angle. This can prevent you from being able to install the UNI filter directly to the carb.
Also, if you remove the stock spacer and gasket when going to the aluminum intake you might not have enough vertical clearance from the plastic engine cover to mount your carb (the bowl hits the plastic).
There's any number of things that can happen, depending on your vehicle.

If your CVT is only getting "very warm" then you're doing a better job of cooling than most! In a normal operating environment, it's still going to be too hot to the touch.
The steps you are taking will help increase airflow to keep the overall temperatures down, and if you get it to a point where you can stop and safely touch it without hurting/burning yourself, you'll have plenty of cooling going on and nothing to worry about.
As for the vibration, check your roller weights for flat spots and replace them if necessary. It's common to experience vibration when they have flat spots on them.

Divide MM by 25.4 to get the number in inches, and vice versa.
You are correct that 0.7mm = 0.0275"
