Thanks Alley! I'll check that in the AM. So this volt meter will work with my AC scoot? What tach do you recommend? I didn't charge the battery overnight. I tested it this AM and got a reading of 12.3 volts. Tried to start it and got that nasty electrical buzz noise when your battery is too low but not dead. I have it charging now. Will retest it and check it under higher RPMs. Battery charged. Engine off I get 12.7 volts. Engine on 12.7 volts. Engine at higher RPMs 12.7. Sounds like I need a new regulator/rectifier.

A 150 should be set at .004 intake, .005 exhaust. When new the exhaust closes up fast, the intake hardly at all. Later the exhaust doesn't close as much but still more than the intake valve. OK, so I just adjusted my valves to .004 intake, .005 exhaust, engine cold, checked before and after tightening lock nut with a slight drag on the feeler gauge. Results: Motor seems to run tighter with less noise (ticking gone), however I had to adjust the idle up to keep it on and I seem to have lost a step on my acceleration. Is this normal. Are there advantages to having them both set at .005 like my manual states?

What is the best fuel line to attach to either end? I understand that the stock fuel lines need replaced ASAP.

My scoot didn't actually come with the trunk you see in my Avatar. With as many of these Chinese made scoots as there are and with a good percentage of them coming with a top box, I'm wondering where I can score me a used one from a salvaged scoot. I live in AZ.

I've been charginging it up daily. I was at 12.7+ when I started today. Here is a picture of my regulator/rectifier. They all look the same to me. Which one do I need? on a side note, would this volt meter work on my scoot if I have an AC version?

I have a newer battery (November) and it keeps running out of juice. I had it fully charged this morning and within 20 miles of riding it was drained so low I had to kick start it. Where do I start?

Some scooters are wired for extra turn signals like on the mirrors too. Mine already has the mirrored turn signals. Wish they were also running lights. Hmmmm. Any ideas?

That was a speed trick on the Eagle Carino, Lance Milan, Motorino Riviera. The 835 belt was installed stock as a speed limiter. Changing to the 842 gave more top speed. All things remaining equal, would changing my belt to an 842 give my scoot more top speed? I have the 115 variator.

Most wiring harness have extra plugs for options that the scooter may not have, so if everything works on yours they are extra connectors for options. Alleyoop This could be dangerous. *contemplating options*

What are the lose wires and the 2 prong plug for? They don't attach to anything and I'm curious cause I'm having charging problems with my scoot. There is another 2 prong plug dangling underneath my scoot near the engine head and central grounding site. I'm guessing it could be for a tachometer, but my bike didn't come with one.

Big end that attached to the crank. I don't think the am soil failed me. I took it on a 20 mile freeway ride at wot about a week before. I was running super premium unleaded and added octane boost. Too much for this motor. Tough lessons.

Most 150cc scoots run good with 11-12 gram rollers. I have tried every possible gram weights on mine and I find that running 13g weights drops my rpms to much and makes it little sluggish on acceleration, so I run 12s or 12.5 Dr. Pulley Sliders which gives good rpms little over 7K at Wide Open Throttle. Alleyoop Thanks for the info Alleyoop. I swapped out my sliders with my stock rollers today. Made a big difference.
