Welcome horse lady I read your post and your question on over filling you engine there is a tube I believe that acts as a overflow. I believe you have nothing to worry about just re check your level and make sure you have oil on your dipstick and you should be good to scoot. to the sight bashan could give you a better understaning on it were is he surprised he hasn't said anything.

Oh no zombie ninja the scooter rider that racks up the amazing amount of miles. Wow neglecting the amazing scooter sounds like the great alley is trying to say drain your tank the water has got into it. You might want to crack the bolt on the bottom to of the carb to drain all the bad gas. This zombie scooter doesn't need these problems I am surprised your having problems. Drain the gas and get back I wan't to hear about 20,000 miles by the end of summer. Get yourself a jug to put fuel in and get a fresh gallon and get back to us. Sorry you are having problems.

Yeah after thinking about it and some others opinion the rebel is probley a better choice the ninja is a sports bike higher rev bike. I would hate to hear about you getting hurt some how. There are a ton of both bikes for sale but the rebel would be a more calm bike for the buck.
I think you would like any bike you get but sticking with the 250 might be a good choice for you plus Honda is built proof bike Change the oil make sure your tires and brakes are good wouldn't think many problems would happen to it. Plus they can rack up the miles.
Good luck face fern.

I believe you could ride a ninja face. You could certainly learn how to use a clutch. Time and paceints mabey use a parking lot and have you father or someone that knows already how to use a clutch get it there for you. I believe you can learn seem like a smart kid. Use your wits and don't go out there with the hot doging mentality of hot roding it. That's how you could get yourself in trouble.
Kz is right that a rebel to would be a good fit. You can always sell once you get the hang of it for something bigger if you need more power. But honestly eather one of the bikes would be plenty of power to get you from a to b. I think you would be most happy with a dual sport motorcycle that's just my opionion. They make them in all difrent sizes and you could defentaly round one up. I would think the ones road on the road would be a better fit since dirt can beat one up and dare delvels can get them to just beat them in the mud. Nothing wrong with that other than they can wear out the parts faster. Good luck I believe you could use an upgrade good luck and keep us posted.

Welcome to the sight globe bashan is pretty stinkin noledgable about scoots. I would take his advice he's had several and has a modified one without any body panels to fix arising problems. again to the sight people are pretty good about communicating on this sight pretty active sight.

That seems to be a very fair deal put like 400 500 dollars in the bike you should be good for many years. A lot difrent from a scooter but not a race bike but plenty of power and besides Honda is a great company. Go for it guitarman.

I believe your carb is of bolts. From your video it sounded good but the tire was spinning at idle shouldn't do that. Sorry about the hose snap sounds like you had a walking cartoon day a little. You said you just put a new belt in your cvt so I would rule that out. Take alleys advice and mess with the carb some. Sorry you are having problems bolts.
