Yeah scooters are pretty much slow on the hills that is normal I believe as far as I know I have a 125 vino and on extremely steep hills mine will only go 10 to 15 miles an hour. But on longer gradual hills will do 20 to 25. Small scooters don't typically do the speed limit though. They are much better on flat land and side roads.
Good luck and hope your daughter enjoys here scooter and is safe.

Yeah the oil should be changed 100 to 300 miles after ridden you will be getting little savings of metal from the rings or the cylinder walls due to use and don't be alarmed that will leave metal flakes. That's why I believe it is important to change the oil 2 or 3 times during break in. Good luck and if you wan't it to last I would take the peoples advice in riding slow back of the throttle and let idle and also let it cool of for 30 minuits or so.
Good luck and be carful out there pay attention to your soroundings.

Be safe all I think that people just don't see scooters or look for them I agree with kz that cell phones should be turned of in vehicles unless people have blue tooth or something similar. Texting has killed a lot of folks so far out there in my different ways and besides you can't pay attention to driving a vehicle texting right?

Yeah them big semi trucks can be scary I agree a lot of people seem to be in a hurry. Best to use caution at all times. I find my self flagging people to pass me also.

Yeah looking out of those mirrors on them little scooters you can't see much. I try to use caution at all times. If someone reads this post how often do they change the oil in there scooter. 500 to 1000 miles? I use synthetic oil just wondering? Also my scooter doesn't get 90 miles to the gallon it gets like 60 wondering if its because of traffic.
