I just bought a new rectifier and it was hard to take off and put back on, I got it from eBay and when I changed it for the first time the clock lit up again with blue and then the color died out. But I doubt its the rectifier. I had a battery go out on me when I first got the scooter. I was inexperienced and picked up the new battery with metal coat hangers on each terminal to take it out of the scooter and it sparked big time. So I didn't notice it until my lights started to dim out and saw a leak on one of the terminals. I then went and got a new battery and all was good. Untill the rainy season and I never tested anything yet with a multi meter... I know my fuse wire is still coated with battery acid on the wires behind the loop. ..

Okay I just wasted 66$ buying a new battery because I was tired of my lights being so dim all the time thinking it would fix it even though the battery was 13.5 fully charged on a multimeter ... Do I need to purchase a new magneto? Can I just change out the stator to an 11 pole stator, I don't even know how many poles I have. www.ebay.com/itm/181544338792

Hurry up and go look around for temp agencies, they send you to random jobs. All you have to do is type up a resume, get an interview and sign some papers and you might just have a job that day.

No damage to the scooter everything still runs the same and looks the same and no bb's in the oil. I guess I spooked him when we saw him coming back for his mountain bike. He just rolled the scooter around the corner by a fence and the homeowner called the police the next morning because he saw it. The mountain bike was taken to the police station.

Well I went to my meeting last night like I always do at 7:00pm to 9:00pm every thursday night. After the meeting was over I went back outside to the parking lot and my scooter was gone and in its place was a mountain bike. So I went back in and told everyone and came back out and called the cops and some guy was coming into the parking lot and didn't see us and he said, " Did you guys... seee a bike around here.. some dude stole my bike. The mountain bike was blocked by cars so no one could see it. So I got to see the person who most likely stole my scooter but there was nothing really I could do. So I'm waiting on my insurance and I'm just going to get me a new scooter and buy an alarm and from rotor lock. Btw 4500 miles on my scooter and I hope he try's to sell some parts on ebay or craigslist since I know more about that stuff then him.

Did you let the engine cool down?

Once you changed the oil and you let it idle for 3-4 min then did you check the dip stick 3-4 min after to see if it was not low?

I'm thinking you have to adjust everything on the carb again when you do that if I'm not mistaken. Ally or Bashan will know.

If you need a new engine they run anywhere from 300-450, not worth it for a mechanic to rebuild.
