Pull the brake light switch from its little housing in the handle. Then see if pressing the plunger in works. Sounds like it could be a broken wire, a bad connection, a bad switch, or even the little cam on the brake lever that works the switch.

Agreed. A new solenoid even an automotive solenoid and fresh gas. Pull the battery out of the bike, or at least disconect the cables and charge it.

If there is not a video for what u need here look for videos by 90GTVert. Be careful going with the "100" cc kits. That's a lot of pressure on a stock crank. It can and has been done, it just reduces the reliability a little. The "80" cc kits will boost performance and not beat the crank as much. Remember, you et what you pay for with the Chinese made parts. Autotech55 on eBay sells or sold kits from Taiwan that are a little higher quality.

Bbk will operate with a stock carb, IF it's jetted properly. Just get an assortment of jets if iu can't get a new carb. Plenty people install bbk with stock carb. Tune the xvt and carb and your willingness see a difference. The larger carb will help a bit.

What type of carb is it? Depending on the type EBay is one source, or partsforscooters.com

From what I have seen about them, they are legit. They will custom cut a sprocket for your application, if they don't already have one. The differentials are high quality, not just some modified buggy rear end. I have been looking for a suitable kit to turn my Helix to a trike, a true trike. I really don't want one of those training wheel kits. Not to mention the price is better for this kit. Unfortunately they seem to be less common than the outrigger kits, and as such I can't vouch for anything. I have seen in person the TowPac or whatever and honestly wasn't impressed. It was great for what it is, but too many stress points IMHO

Two strokes were hard on plugs way back in the day. Most of that was due to the oils of the time. Currently a two sroke bike that's running right will be as easy on plugs as a well tuned four stroke. I actually go through more plugs on my lawnmower than my two stroke scoot.

Those are the guys that will make a custom sprocket for the final drive right? No experience with them, but if you get one of those kits, please post some pics and your thoughts .

Good point. Honda has built quality machines for generations. They are responsible for introducing Maxi Scoots to the American market. With the CH Elite followed by the CN 250 Helix. The Elit and Helix share common traits. The way they are built, the fugly favor of these are such that you either love em or hatem. I think theyre so ugly they're cool. The Reflex may not be boxy and ugly like it's predecessors, but it still harbors the same quality and fnish.
Not to mention, the Reflex clones ( such as MC-54-250B ) are some of the most common Chinese models around. That should show that Hondas aretge mark to meat.

Yeah, it's a 250. The CN and CH Honda 250's are both Vertical cylinder engines. I am proud as hell of the performance and reliability of my Honda. I would expect your Reflex to be as good possibly better. Good luck, and have fun. Kee both wheels on the ground and gat been ke should last a lifetime.

Okay, check this, My Helix odometer is showing 33469.4 but, my title transfer from when I bought it said it was showing 73891.6, so, I feel safe saying 133469.4 ttal miles. Not bad for a 31 year old machines that's all stock save for tires and the like.

That's a nice bike. That's just starting to break in for a Honda..lol I have an 86 Helix with high high mileage. I can't remember the actual number right now but I do know the he's a driver not a trailer weight. The Honda scoots are bullet proof almost if they are taken care of.
