HAHAHA, so your problem is NOT starting is that right? if so then the current test of your stator is ok. Once the motor starts and the flywheel spins around the stator it makes more JUICE and it should then read 50+VAC. So if you are testing why it does not start. First thing is to check if you are getting SPARK at the Spark Plug by holding it ON THE VALVE COVER(NOT THE FRAME). If spark then it is fuel delivery problem or there is a problem with the actual motor internally. So IS THE PROBLEM NOT STARTING NOW? I have Lost my way on this thread(HAHA). IF SO lets back up and test for SPARK and FUEL. SO TELL ME IS THE CURRENT PROBLEM NO SPARK? Alleyoop What could be wrong with it internally? |

Hey guys I'm back,
The bike hasn't started since our last discussion because i didn't dedicate time to it. now i want to ride, so i'm picking up where we left off.
I found a piece of plastic the size of the exhaust pipe hole in the piston cylinder.
Any idea where from? the exhaust pipe has a copper gasket.
i suspect it wouldn't start because my intake manifold gasket was all mangled. i usually piece it together before reassembling...
should i use Permatex Ultra Black Hi-Temp RTV Silicone Gasket Maker for intake manifold? if so, how long before it dries?
do my piston rings look too stretched open, or the gap too wide?

that carb is different than mine. mine has hoses connecting to the pipe going tot he intake on the cylinder head |
