have to be completely honest. after i got it running a couple of days ago by draining the bad gas tightening the 4 bolts that hold down the cam and adjusting the f/a ration screw, i figured i could run half premium and half the gas that i drained out(bad gas). it didnt run a mile... and her i am. i did everything i did to get it starting before 4 times over

Oil is at level and the chain is still on the cam. i adjusted the valves and tightened the rocker arms 100 times. my plug has always been wet but now its dry. fuel delivery to the carb is good but from carb to engine im not sure

what does dry spark plug mean?
It has gas flow i check the drain hose and the fuel valve

still wont start has spark, put fuel in hose no change, spark plug dry, fuel valve fuel flow ok,

I see so I should set the Fuel air ratio screw and the idle screw back to 2 1/2 turns then try and get it to start, warm it up and set the idle to between 1500-2000rpms THEN adjust the FUEL RATIO MIXTURE to get the HIGHEST IDLE JUST USING THE FUEL MIXTURE SCREW. AFTER YOU get the highest idle out of the Fuel Mixture screw THEN YOU can adjust the IDLE down USING THE IDLE SPEED SCREW to 1500-1800 where ever it idles the smoothest.

finally walked it home from about mile away and almost got it started but dont want to disturb the neighbors. reset the f/a r screw to 2 1/2 and then to 3 turns and re adjusted the idle from about 2 1/2 to about 1 turn and it is almost starting.

i turned the fuel mixture screw from 2 1/2 turns to 2 turns and is still somewhat tricky to start. although I haven't tried to start it since i stripped the bolt hole(because it started too screwing rain and has been raining ever since)I am wondering if turning it more towards the closed direction would help
