I went back and re read everything that drahken said and one thing really sticks out he talks about destroying the American manufacturing with Chinese Junk. Well I am sorry to bust his bubble, the Chinese did not destroy American manufacturing it was destroyed a long time ago and American Manufacturing did it to itself by not being competitive, high influx of Japanese imports and Labor Unions. Now how about that for a heated discussion? LOL!

I also noticed he was harping about replacing carbs instead of rebuilding them, but didn't comment when I left the link. Oh Well.

Then there was "i just can't stand chinese scooters, had a lemon. screw them" Let's follow that logic

I got A bad piece of beef from the store, so all beef is crap, screw them.

I had A bad Bicycle once, so all bicycles are crap, screw them.

I had A bad Chevy once, so all Chevy's are carp, screw them.

I think I made my point.

As far as not paying tax when one buys a scooter from a flea market (or drop ship) he is partially correct, you may not pay tax at the time of purchase but you will when you go to register and plate it. Just like buying a used car from a private party.

I also didn't see where any ADMINs threatened anyone.

If Chinese scooters are crap how do you explain all the many Chinese scooters out there with high mileage? Luck? Many Motorino Dealers have noted 20,000+ miles on 50cc scooters with no more than routine maintenance according to John Dikov of Scootersus.com.

what else makes them? you got a guarantee, nope not on a chinese and then if its not guaranteed its, in well something its like is something used. but you buy something used, its usually not chinese if you paid anythying much for it, and its not a lemon. only a once in a bluemoon, like the bicycle you bought that was bad could happen.

american manufacturing wasnt competitive?  no your epa crap noone gives a crap about sued out by lawyers who talk about crap noone gives a crap about, drove out american manufacturing, theres no way what you say is possible, it had one so it coulndt lose it for no good reason.  did japan suddenly run into a large slab of high grade iron and america went nah we'll let you produce from now on? 

you left one link and you also claimed thats the only time you mentioned to replace carbs.  no everytime someones carb is not working good you suggest replace and not rebuild, ever,every time and use the excuse that its got these screws here but your not telling that person that theyre trying to FIX it, not do that.  just go search.

the chinese bike had a model that was a straight lemon.  besides whole productions being lemons, they also have lemons come out pretty common.  had to take thsi off had to take that off.   poisoning the well fallacy

and really what did you want me to do with that link about a carb someone wanted to edit the idle screw with and it had acap over it?  do your own search everyone reading this topic of carb problem on a chinese scooter, andfind all the posts.  the answer you guys give is replace the carb.  then some ebay link.  theres where you money comes in.  thats why i said this forum makes money.  giving awful advice.  its like every other chinese forum.  the members attacked me.  not an admin.  is the admin supposed to say something?  i said they run it to give bad advice to sell ebay auctions. so?  SO?

Ever take time to notice how many times this subject, this type of thread comes up? Interesting reading, but same subject same discussion, Chinese scooters are a good value or they are crap. But what stands out the most here is the OP didn't think their opinion mattered any more after one post?
