Thats a tough question to answer because even the same scoot model can have different contra spring and weights from the factory. The best thing to do is pull the variator and see whats in there. If you like the way it is now then just get the sliders the same weight or 1g heavier. If you want more accelleraton then go lighter. -Zug

I have an almost identical machine. I put 12g sliders in it and it helps on the bottom end quite a bit. Picks up a lot faster. Stock are 14g rollers.

Zug is absolutely right. Find out what you are running now (Take one to your local post office if you don't have a scale).
Whatever you have stock, drop one gram for a slider to get a better takeoff but keep the same top end.
A slider weight will act like (About) 1 gram less than the same weight roller but keeping the same top speed.
Expect each gram you drop from there to be a little less than 1mph off your top speed in most cases in return for better low end.

I always liked the feeling a belly full of sliders gave me. Shame there are no White Castles around here where I now live!

When I do about 75 mph I am touching 70k. I have no idea on weight of rollers. I would like my rpm down a bit at that speed but i do not want to sacrifice on hills ability which is actually good as well.
Why are sliders better than rollers?

To jct842: With a belly full of sliders you never have a problem with lack of gas pressure. ;D ;D ;D

ok this is all new to me, after reading and watching the tubes i have a Q
what are the options on what you want? mine is stock, and with the wife and I we are hauling close to 400 pounds
i do not understand the slider/rollers/grams/weights options is there a scale depicting what you need for a set ratio?

OK, here is the deal on Variator Weights.
Lighter Gram Weights- keep the Belt in the Lower range of the Variator Longer and Require More Rpms to get the Belt to Climb up the Variator. You may also loose some top end speed. So if your hauling a lot of weight you want Lighter Weights to keep the Belt in the Lower Part of the Variator.
Heavier Gram Weights- Will get the Belt up the Variator quicker and your Low End will suffer it will be sluggish because the Belt climbed up the Variator to quick. The Top end will be really good but sluggish starting off and mid-range as well. Your Rpms will drop and you may not be running in your engines max HP range which is usually around 7500 rpms.
So first you have to find what Gram weights are in your Variator and decide which way you need to change the Weights to. Always get at least two sets of weights skipping one number inbetween from what you currently have.
Example: if your current weights are 17Gram:
And you want lighter weights- Get 13 and 15gram weights. This way you have quite a choice to experiment with: 3-13s+15s gives you 14gram 3-15s+3-17 gives you 16Gram Plus you still have the 13s and the 15s Alleyoop
