Rode in this morning when the thermometer read 21. It actually was a nice ride. The weather this morning said ZERO chance of precip. Guess what started at 1 PM? Freezing rain. So I waited until 3 and it was still sticking to the road and bike. Nobody was coming in the clinic because the weather had everybody running for milk and bread so I closed up and headed home. The precip stopped about halfway home and it was easy peasy after that. I guess I should have stayed open but it was starting to look nasty at 2 PM. Oh well, I'm home now so moot point.

Not as cold of a ride in for me this morning but a little chilli with nasty a$$ fog,,,,same tomorrow predicted so I left the scoot at the studio and drove BIG BABY!!! Home,,, if someone wants to mix it up with that beast good luck to him

I'm done with all this cold weather.. it dips down into the 70s in the evening.. so i have to scurry home by 7pm or so... basta! ... give me back my warm weather  |

Still riding every day it doesn't rain or snow. We just had a winter storm alert that didn't happen. The temps have been 20 to 30 in the morning and 50 to 60 during the day. I'm at 11,000 on the odo. I need to do a service job and check the rollers. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I guess I'll put that off until Tuesday. When the weather breaks I plan on putting some serious miles on this puppy. I can generally put a 1,000 a month on a bike if the weather is OK. The Citycom just keeps rolling and running. It never complains and will run at high speeds while humming a happy tune. My friend Pete has suggested a couple mods to eke a few more HP out of her. I'm going to try it but I'm a little nervous about the whole thing. I'll let you know what happens. Rich

Well I think it's time to close the log down. It was 60 when I left the house this morning and it's pushing 80 right now. I just changed the engine and tranny oil yesterday and the beast is charging forward like never before. The bike continues to amaze me and people still drive beside me trying to figure out  is that thing. That is of course until I crack the go handle and they try to keep up. I'm at 11K+ mileage and haven't had one problem. I thought the battery was getting a little iffy but it seems to have corrected itself. Maybe it's the warmer weather, who knows, I'm just going to keep riding. See you on this thread next fall!

I am from CT and I Couldn't AGREE MORE.
I have Peripheral Neuropathy in my feet and 65f and over is OK somtimes.
