I'd like to go Xenon on my 150 and have been looking at 35w HID kits from Asia., both appear to come with 3 adapters to ease bulb install: www.aliexpress.com/store/800833/209643573-357807315/Free-Shipping-Motorcycle-Scooter-HID-Conversion-Kit-6000K-Scooter-Parts-87706.htmlSent message to each asking if they are bi-xenon (Hi-Lo) but no response yet... can anyone tell from looking at the pic(s)? My Eton R4 has the crappy B35 twist-in bulb... twists into the socket which in turn twists into the headlight lens/reflector housing: I DID find these 35W Halogens that will fit right into the OEM socket: [ C dimension above should read: "20mm (3/4")"... really .78"] Definitely want to upgrade the lighting from that stinkin' flashlight it came with. Any advice those more familiar with B35 headlamps and HID kits can offer would be GREAT!

Hey . Those lights look like they would be a good candidate for a group buy! I don`t know if that is done in the scoot world or this board , but I have participated in some on other boards that I am a member of and realized great savings . Just an idea and a little work , so be gentle.

Can't speak to that suggestion (new here) but at $4.49 it's not that important. Shipping for 2 was $11.95.

I emailed this guy and he did respond back quickly. This kit is for a single headlight system. If you have 2 headlights you will need 2 kits. He is supposed to be calling me this week, I will ask about being high/low lights. I have noticed in a couple other places that there is a single beam and a dual beam bulb. Jim

What about HEAT? Bulb temperature that is... Have read that HID's get very hot, maybe too hot for plastic head lamps. I know Halogens get hot as Hades but not yet heard of one melting someone's plastic headlight. Are xenons even hotter than halogens or are some just going all 'Chicken-Little' about the whole deal? Any folks with HID kits on their bikes... What's the skinny?

And have not been even close to being hot enough to melt the cheap chino plastic yet.

you will need to do some very minor custom wiring to make it work with the factory h4 socket its very very close to plug and play here is what the kit looks like but it has 2 wires on the end of the bulb insted of the plug you see in the photo the 2 wires will have male spades on them they just plug into the factory harnes this kit is only a 2 wire kit were the factory is a 3 wire one for low and one for hi and a ground I used the hi conection so I can turn the lights on or off at will best part is they are under $40 a pair I have the 35W 5K kit

the 35 watt halogens will screw right in the OEM socket tho correct, how much better are the halogens then the oem bulbs do you think? what is the osram bulb part number so I may order else where. also very nice orange hibiscus in back ground I guess the Osram question was meant for me...? Well since the bike is in pieces I haven't tested the halogen against the 35W incandescent but it couldn't be any worse. The base of the Osram bulb is marked ''BA2Od'' and ''f04B'' The box bears #62327.
I haven't given up on the idea of going HID but picked up the halogens as insurance should that prove unworkable. Problem is my single headlight is configured for the B35 twist in socket not an H4 which is what the xenons usually are. Does anyone know how I could get an H4 style bi-xenon (hi-lo) to work with the B35 socket type headlamp? Splicing a conventional 3 prong headlight socket onto the harness is no issue but what about securing an H4 HID element in the headlight lens/reflector? Any suggestions?
