I wish I could help you. Your scoot looks like a Majesty copy to me. The windsheilds you picked look like they would be correct for your scooter to me in name and design. I liked the windshield nuts you found to. I need a set of those myself. Just hav to figure out what size I need.

There is a noise when my scooter is idling. Doesn't matter if warmed up, or not yet warmed up. Noise doesn't seem to be present with idle turned up high (where rear wheel starts to rotate), but seems to just be present as you might be able to hear in this video.
I tried to take an adequate video to capture the noise. Could it be a possibility that the belt is slapping and or needs replaced? Stretched, maybe?
Belt is original. Scooter is 2008 model. I got in 2012. Has about 2yrs (6K China Miles) riding time on it (April 2012-early 2014) and does not appear to be fraying. The sound does not seem like a 'missfire'. I have adjusted the carb air/fuel mixture screw to the highest idle, and the air box I have restored the air flow to the way it should be. (sealed it back up as it really wasn't sealed well when I got the scooter in the crate). Idle is adjusted to just below where the rear wheel would start to turn (AFTER it has warmed up).

If the belt is that old I would start with a replacement. They not only can stretch but do wear on the sides which makes them fit loose in the shives.

Can't hurt anything. I know we 'prefer' (atleast from what I've seen in the forums) Gates... but I'll likely go with a Bando on Ebay for $12 for now... I want to get it on the road, then worry about a Gates belt later.

Sounds like something is slapping or wrapping against something in the clutch area ? That's what my brain was saying.... almost sounded similar to when I changed rollers to sliders.... one of the sliders got out of whack in the assembly process a few years ago and was causing a tap, tap , tap... which kicked the wheel making it want to spin.... But, when the belt arrives and I change it, I'll investigate.

Have not installed belt I received yet. But, I ordered a Bando belt for $14.99 and received a brand name called Deyun....can't find that on the internet, so I don't know the quality. I emailed the seller... got a reply to take a picture and they would pass onto their 'supplier'... that's code for they are a dropshipper IMO. That is fine with me, I've drop shipped on ebay before. I'm familiar with how ebay works and the system... so not worried, this seller has high satisfaction ratings, and I'm sure things will work out fine...if they don't...I know how the system works... so anyway.. just wanted to post that to update the thread.

Mine came with a 856 Powerlink. I'm sure the belt will be of quality. Every CVT belt I've seen lately looks like it has Kevlar in it. And is very tough. Now tires, That's another story

Ok weather is cooler and I am starting to put parts back on the scooter again. Does anyone know what this part is? You have to zoom in to see it. It's that little flat black Park playing just forward of the muffler. There's nothing wrong with it the scooter runs right now. I was just wondering what that is in case I need it in the future.

My wife's scooter has sat for at least 5 years. I drain fuel every year and run it and change oil realy. Last year while trying to start it it has bad grinding noise. Took off started couple days ago and sprayed penetrating oil on hear on engine. But it is still grinding. What could cause sound? Wondering if the sliding sprocket frozen in place.
