Yes, I agree but why? I pulled the diaphragm off. It was OK but the pin just tests in there. Nothing keeps it from moving around.
I have 2 other carbs. Their pins didn't move around like this.
Big question. How do I find a replacement? Do I remove and measure it. The other diaphragms wouldn't fit. Slightly off for diameter.

This Diaphragm needle combination has no adjustments to do this, it is not normal.

Some people make adjustments any way...like a tiny washer under the needle. Or several.

If you want to raise the needle up you stick a small washer under it,...under the head. When it is installed with the washer it does not go down as far as it used too.

The washer/washers (because I had a e few one point), didn't help.
I rechecked for vacuum leaks and air leaks from the air filter box to the intake. No leaks. I ordered a 115 jet. I am hoping that is bigger than mine.
I will also take the carburetor further apart and spray choke cleaner down other areas I have not cleaned yet. Use a pipe cleaner or something to safely remove any deposits.
After that It's replace carburetor. I would think.

Sorry, yes, all stock.
I am getting the 115 jet, I believe I should have a 109 currently, but What do I know?

Really best to look first before you order unless you get a jet kit. Some people change jets for winter riding too.
Scooters are a poor choice if you want to ride in snow, The small fat wheels slide all over the place in snow. A better choice would be a 50cc moped with the tall skinny wheels with a knobby type tread.
