My new scooter just arrived. The one in the green nightgown is me. The woman with the gray hair is my house mate. The boy is my best friend's son, who is staying with me right now. The guy in the denim jacket is my neighbor. People driving by were sure looking while we unpacked it! Now I'm exhausted. I didn't get any sleep last night, and I need to take a nap. I also have to write a paper for school before I can start my PDI. The paper is due today and I've barely started on it! Denise

Very nice looking scoot Denise. You're right, take it easy on the first few rides just to get used to the feel of the scoot. Also, get all the safety gear and wear it, gloves, helmet, even a heavy coat or a leather jacket helps in case you have a spill. Did I mention a heavy shoe or boot that goes above the ankle. It helps a lot.

Yeah, I know. Actually, he's staying with me right now. He was sick this morning, so I kept him home from school. He was sound asleep, but the minute he heard that truck outside he was up and out there! He has been told repeatedly to put on a belt! He's 15 years old, what can I say?

I get to do the PDI tomorrow! I had to write a paper today. On top of that I had to take Colin to the hospital tonight (bad cough). I guess he gets to help me tomorrow with the PDI. That will make him happy!

Looking good Denise. Hey - if you were one of my students, I'd probably give you an excuse for a late paper due to a new scooter. Once that PDI's done, get out and practice a lot. Be careful about turns.
When my son (now 31) was younger, he went through that loose pants phase. My folks gave him about 10 different styles/colors of rope to hold his pants up for his birthday as a joke.

My 14 yr. old son hates droopy pants. Guess I'm lucky.

Congrats on the scooter! Have fun!
I'm leaning towards a bright color for the Matrix when I decide to repaint... it might be yellow. We'll see! ;-)

Colin put a belt on. He also laughed when he read the comments over my shoulder.
